hey shortcake, i've watched the first tape of laey rati, and boy it was good. although i don't really like the p'ek and n'ek but everything else is good, the plot, supporting actors and pace overall a very good lakorn to watch.

oh sutisa i've watched tape 3 of duern deud, the awards ceremony was so funny/weird at the same time. I mean do they really need the other actors as guest stars and like announcing that best actress nominations were ariya for 'koew da warn jai", and montakarn (kob) for 'mae khon aei", cracked me up so much, man it was so fake. I'd rather they use unknown actors and made up the lakorns, it would seem more believable, than mixing real-life and fiction.

Anyways, seen 'thangsa and ar chi' it really funny series, and the actors aer great, Joy's acting is always good.

omg i am in love with this lakorn like everyone else. what, i can't believe u don't like ann and pepper??? they have the best chemistry! i love them! haha so funny u're the first person to say u don't like them. god i love everything about this, the characters, the songs, storyline, and the pace-it doesn't drag! pretty fast pace. not only that i like the main characters, i like the second couple too, pong and mod. i have to say i enjoy every minute of it. and it gets good every tape!

i would like to see dark angel too but i think i'm gonna wait for it to be dub. so right now i can't judge if it's good too, all i know is lay ladree is so great for me now.

Shortcake I recommend that you do wait for Dern Dued to be dubbed into Khmer first before you watch it cas that way you might enjoy it more cas you can understand whats going on cas its a pretty hard series to follow if you don't understand cas it has lots of twists in it and Kob disguises herself alot.

I've borrowed tape no.1 of leh ratree but I haven't seen it yet. Also I've seen 2 tapes of Rak Dai May tah hua jai may pien starring Kade and Cheer. Its such a funny and cute lakorn. I thought it was going to be boring but it's so funny! In this lakorn Kade thinks that Cheer is a Tomboy cas she has this childhood friend who she is really close to (they are always hugging and close) and Kade hates people who are the 3rd sex. Then their is Kades brother (nam rapeepat) who likes Cheer's girlfriend and wants to break the two girls apart. The girls open a music school and the guys younger sister attends this school. The younger sister and their mum want the two girls to be their daughter-in-law cas they don't like these other girls that like Nam and Kade. There so many funny scenes, like the one where Kade's whole family think that he's gay cas he doesn't have a girlfriend. They say all these things like " you don't have to be shy your family will support you no matter who you really are". i can't wait to see more cute scenes. I really like Kade in this and Nam is getting cuter.

Waiting for ann's lakorn "narg fai rai beek" to air, goss at the moment is that it will air after Tangsa kub archi in the fri-sat-sun slot and will go head to head with "nargsao jing jai kub nai sandee" starring um and tik.

if its true, it would be a good battle, and both lakorns are produced by Polyplus.

No "la-leam" is not the same as dou sab. The Khmer equivalent is probably something like "neang lak oar' (sorry this is all I can come up with at the moment) Dou means body and Sab means to feel/give pain. So when you call someone Dou Sab, its usually because that person has done something mischievious/naughty/bad to you or they've said a smart-arse comment to you.

It's quite funny but I used to really like Ann when she was at RS, I especially like her in the series "leard toranong" (the one about the horse racing) but now I just think she's okay and Pepper, I don't think his that cute anymore, I like him when he had long hair and I think his too skinny. I've seen tape 1 of "Leh Ratree" and think its okay. Pepper is pretty good for his first acting role (actually better then expected) but I find Ann a bit annoying. The storyline is quite good though and I can understand why a lot of people like the series. I will probably watch this series but maybe its just where I live but this series seems to be really slow. It came out about the same time as Dern Dued but is still on tape 1 and Dern Dued already release 3 tapes.

Past lakorn of Exact include "leard Katiya - Tik&Aom", "Roy lai Sanae Rai - Tik&Aom", Khun noo arom rai kub Nai san dee - Ann&Tang", "pere ter - Mam&Tang", ect they have heaps more these ones aired on CH5. Exact have also produced lakorn for Ch3 - "Far peng din - Captian&Aom", "Chai mai jing ying tare - Sanya&Mam" and for Ch7 - "Hung far kub som wang - God&Aom", "lekgai lekgai - God&Dong", hope that helps.

Thanks Dingnoy for the pics of Ann in Manee yard far. It's definetly one of her best. I also like Ploy, who played her sister as well.

I can't wait for the one of Tik and Aum, I want to watch Ann too but again I really don't like P'ek!

This series is so cute, you guys have to watch it. It's a very light comedy series, guaranteed to make you laugh all the way, and it's not overdone either. I'm laughing just thinking about it.

Yeah she does look like a guy, but she fits the character well. Thou she seems to be cast in this type of character, cas in Benja Kita Kwarm Rak, she was tomboyish too. But I like her cas both of these lakorn are some of my favourites.

If I remember correctly, the wedding scene was more near the start, when she had to go stay at Willy's house. Cas they had to lie to everyone that they were married. But it's been a while so its a bit fuzzy. Dingnoy care to correct me. Also yes Ploy is from Kularb len Fai, the series was pretty good, I normally don't like it when girls fight over the one guy, but this series was done quite good. Also maybe liking Utt has something to do with it.

Yeah "manee yard fah" was a good lakorn, but not my favorite maybe coz it didn't portray the acting skills of ann too much, my fav series of hers are: song naree, sai rong, and samee ditra.

lol dingnoy u got me talking about ann now. well i like the lakorn with chatchai where she switched with the real bride and the rainbow one like u. lol johnny was alright in there but now i don't like him anymore, hehe...but anyway back to the story. u know at first it wasn't too good but then it got better after the turning point-where johnny did not marry ann and left her. and then she just went crazy and started drinking. ooh the ending kinda remind me of fate twiser. i'm telling u, lakorns in the old days were good! i think right now they just ran out of new storyline.

for thai tapes, it's .50 US cents for 2 hrs. but like i said, lay ladree is only 1 hr due to whatever the reason is for Exact lakorns. i watch the dub version which is also .50 cents per tape, but the length is 1 hr, ~20 mins.

i've only seen a little of TITS. to me it's not good. but for PONR the first half i think is good, but if u watch the whole thing i'll tell u my complaints about it later. condor hero hasn't come out for us yet i think, along with semi devil demi god. i guess i will watch china b/c didn't see TVB.

It's funny but I don't actually like Samee dee dra and Song naree.
But I do like the one with Chadchai and Sai Rong. Also, another one of my favourite Ann lakorn is Rang Ngow the one with Ken. She was damn good in that one. Though I didn't like the weak sister role, but when the stronger twin came back, boy was it good. I loved it when she got back at Dodo and his *****y wife.

I quite like TITS, but the pairing of the main couple I didn't really like hence I didn't really like the ending. Storyline and production wise its pretty good. Never saw PONR so can't comment and I hardly watch China productions so I probably won't watch Condor heros. As for DGSD, I hate the storyline and I've seen about 3 different versions already so don't need to see another one.

Other Utt lakorns include Khun Chai with Bua, Song krahm (war)Doark (flower) Rak (love) also with Bua - this is the one about Aids, I really like this lakorn, but it was a real drama and lots of crying scenes, and the plot was different, actually I should say daring. Kularb len fai with Ploy. There are others but these are the ones he played P'ek.

Your watching Silarmmanee, I remember this lakorn, I thought it was quite good. I remember thinking that Ann S was really pretty when she was dressed in that traditional clothing. Another lakorn of hers that I really like is TweePorp, the one where she goes back in time through the mirror.
