beside the naked guy(haha), dresswise, aum looks good. i've seen others who are sexy but i guess they don't get much attention. hmm, about aum, i think she's working really hard right now. i don't think it's wrong. if she has the opportunity and many people are asking her to do photo shoots, she should do it. it's her chance. u don't stay famous forever. but i agree sometimes she doesn't look that good in pics but she looks great in lakorns. the only pic i didn't like of her is the one where she's touching her breast.

kob and aum, they really have something going on huh? u see them everywhere. but for fans, i don't think they get tired of that. honestly, i cannot watch kob lakorns anymore (well just waiting for DD). don't want to offend u guys if like her, but i think she's overrated. her acting is not that great even though she's been acting for a long time. she's stiff; whenever i watch her lakorns she doesn't give me the feeling that it's real and not acting. and the fake kisses really bother me too like when they just show the heads moving! a quick peck on the lip is not that bad. i just don't understand how she's been in the ET business for awhile now and still don't get what professional do. it's just acting. she's not convincing enough to me; i need real hugs and real action. plus her lakorns are really boring now. my fave one was the reincarnation with saranyu. that was great. hmm u know i think b/c when i was watching her lakorns in the past, i was still young so i don't really notice all those stuff but now that i'm all grown up, i understand more what adults do.

i totally agree with u shortcake, i mean she's been in the biz for so long and yet hasn't improved as much as other have. Duern deud in the only lakorn i've watched of hers since lok mai glai ton, and i only watch that coz of andrew!

For example: Benz, ann and kob all started out in ch7. Benz and kob had the first appearance in Boran lakorn, and moved on. Benz is now one of the most respected n'erks in ch3, and kob is in ch7, but there acting ability differs immensely. Benz roles keeps changing, she got a award for playing the n'rai in "Miea Luang" and her performances as the sex crazed maniac in "tub tawarn" was sensational. Now kob, her talent has improved, but they stayed the same for years, i mean its like what they say, 100 lakorn, 1 role, that is so true. HEr most memerable performance, would be in "duew rang ut ti tarn" and "Dung sawan sarb" just because the role lets her play something new. I think she should try playing n'rai for once and prove once and for all, that she can act. Even Um and Noon have played n'rai before and see how much they've improve, esp noon in 'mae i sauern".

Now, as for Ann, she started out in ch7 playing the same role as kob, in "moo dang' and "ching char chalie", since she wasn't promoted she moved to ch3 and risked everything for the role of twin in "2 naree" which won her the golden television awards, then doubled that whcih a nomination for her role in "sie rong". She also good at romantic comedies eg "many yard far" and real comedy "bunyachon goun kreuw", with great feedback. Then to serious dramas like 'samee tee dra' and 'rang gaow", she proved she can sing in 'seur si fune" and as a show gilr in "narg show", her new lakorn as an air hostess and recently playing three different women in three geenrations in "tae barg gone"..which should show case her versitality..

I'm not trying to bag kob, but i just want to try newer more refreshed roles and try to make an impact to immerse the viewer into the character she's playing, coz i really think she can do it if she tried!!!!

Um! I hate to burst your bubble but if you're right about 'Woung narm woun' with pepper and Ann, well the storyline isn't that good, actually its quite stupid cas I saw the version with Marsha, Mai and this other chick, and I thought it was pretty stupid. That is if its the same one, but the title is the same.

As for what I think about Aum's new pic, I like them, even with the practically naked guy beside her. I don't see anything wrong with them as long as the posing isn't x-rated, then I still see it as a fashion shoot. The only thing I don't like about this pic is her makeup, why is it so dark, makes her look darker. Actually, I like the pic where Aum is touching her breast, as long as it's her hand and not someone else's!

As for Kob, I know that her acting hasn't changed much, but I still like her, I still like her lakorns. Out of all of Kob's lakorns, the only one's I don't like are Ngow Jai and Dung Kai lom.... both with Brook (actually I'm not too fond of Brook). As for the love scenes, I kinda like it when they don't do the real thing, I mean tongue, not just kissing, I feel funny seeing it. I feel funny when I see them tongue in HK series, so I don't really like it in Thai series. Also most of the time N'ek always plays an innocent, conservative character, so if she was to kiss like that it would be out of character. It would be alright if N'eks character was more bad like Benz in Tub Dawan ect... i think the Farangs are best at kissing scenes so I'll leave it to them. They do it more naturally.

Dern dued is nearly finished , only one more episode to go. I don't want it to end. I'm pretty obsessed with this series.

ah!!! great news! dingnoy u made my day, luv u! where did u get the info anyway? oh man i really have to post this elsewhere! thanks again. i hope it's not the lakorn sutisa said is not good, but if it is i guess i still don't mind! u know how fans are, as long as u see them. noon was very good in predwatsutat although the lakorn was hella boring. i really hated her in there. i never knew ann was with ch. 7 before. well it's good that she switched to ch. 3 and seems she staying there for long.

i respect ur opinion sutisa. i think when they kiss in chinese series is also weird. looks really different from american shows. i know what u mean about the conservative thing, but i'm really ok with a peck on the lip. hmm, is fah chanika mixed too? b/c when she kiss willy in kark pet, it look all good.

i don't know if u've seen this already, but dingnoy here's an article about u're beloved ann.

From the Bangkok Post! She is awesome definitly one of the best actress in Thailand. Drama Queen as always!

    Drama queen gets serious

Ann Thongprasom explains why beloved soaps are a Thai way of life

French cinema is at its most natural when it climbs the high tower of intellectualism. American movies, meanwhile, are at best when they represent an ongoing search for the nation's identity.

Mexican flicks are spontaneous in their eruption of sensuality. And Thai cinema? Like most Third-World drama (Latin America, India, the Philippines) we're at our most natural, most brilliant when we plunge into the realm of melodrama and comedy, since that's when the communication between the artist and the audience takes place almost instinctively.

Ann Thongprasom knows what it's like to be a drama queen _ or a melodrama queen _ and she insists that it's a certain cultural mechanism that keeps Thai TV flooded with soap operas that some cynics deride as "stinking" as polluted water. "What stinks depends on each viewer's taste," the 27-year-old actress says. "For me, no melodrama stinks that bad. Rich, educated people may say the drama series I star in stink, but for the masses, for the majority of people, it's their life, or the life they dream of living. And I, as an actress, connect them to that life."

In her first film role in over 10 years, Ann, who's regarded as one of the most talented actresses around, plays a computer programmer who grieves over the loss of her husband in the upcoming film The Letter. Observers quickly say that she simply transports one of her TV roles onto the big screen, and doubt if the movie, a supposedly more ennobled art form, will capitalise on the stinking effects of the tube's ubiquitous dramas.

"I'm not running away from myself," says the amiable Ann, who's starred in 27 TV dramas over the past 14 years. "I realise my potential as a dramatic actress, and I intend to use that in this movie. I'm aware, too, of the difference between acting for television and acting in a film, and I'm careful in my characterisation not to overdo it.

"I cry quite a few times in the movie," she says laughing. "But why crying? There's a difference when a character cries because she's sad, or because she's bored, or because she's hopeless. It's important to me that I really feel it when I cry."

In her various roles on TV, Ann is adventurous enough to embody everything from a sweet little kid, which seems to match her princess-like appearance, to an alcoholic ***** and a cursed wife whose three husbands keep dying on her. Despite that, her clean-cut image of urban young woman continues to make her a perennial favourite among TV viewers.

"In every role, I think it's possible to analyse it to reflect the reason why these 'stinking' melodrama remains a staple in Thai entertainment," Ann says. "See, like when I play a woman who has a heartbreak over wrong men again and again. On the surface, she's a sily person, but then you start to think why the woman keeps making the same mistake, why she doesn't stop loving, what she's really looking for in life. These are the questions today's women are still asking, and sometimes they may find the answer in TV dramas.

"But what's also important is that we cannot easily assume that the people want to see these stories so the producers are obliged to produce these stories, over and over again," she adds. "It may happen the other way round, that the producers force-feed the viewers with the same materials so they can limit their perception and dictate their taste. I don't know which is true. But I realise that I'm part of the system, and as long as what I do is harmless, I'm fine."

Women's identification with Ann is likely get even stronger with The Letter, a genuine chick flick that aims to capture the emotional range of modern femininity. "It's a nice, touching, and sad movie," Ann says. "But I believe you'll love your boyfriend or girlfriend more. You'll be happier walking out of it."

I think Fah Chanika is mixed but I don't think that has anything to do with the fact that they really did kiss (properly). Cas Marsha kissed Chai for real in their lakorn and Ann T kissed Chadchai too. I think it's up to the individual as well as the script. I know alot of the other actresses won't kiss for real, they use camera angles to help.

Great that means I have another lakorn to watch! this one with Tang and Tae. Bringing my total up to 7 lakorns!

I've just started watching Choom Tang rak with Pinky and Kade, she is so pretty now.

As a Thai person who seldom watches Thai series, I suggest you to watch "Love 8900". This series is good and gay relationship as demonstrated in this series is quite interesting. The two actors are very good.

Dern deud has ended I really, really like this lakorn, am pretty addicted to it.

Sorry is Love 8900 the one with Captain and Bee namtip?

It's funny that I only post up pics from Ch7 and Dingnoy mostly posts up pics from Ch3. I don't mean to but I subconciously do cas you guys know that I tend to like Ch7 lakorns more. Though I do watch equal amounts from both channels, especially those pics you posted up, I'll probably watch all of them. At the moment my supply of Thai lakorns is very little cas the old ones have just finished and am waiting for the start of the new ones to arrive. I've just seen tape 1 of Vee-Arnut-Numfon-Pinky lakorn, and have rented Benz and Um's lakorn but haven't seen it.

Dingnoy, did you watch all of Brook and Yui's lakorn "Lang Ka dang"? what are your opinions on it? Cas I was thinking about renting it cas I like Yui and I've seen some scenes which look quite good. I kinda know the storyline but was wondering if Yui's character was still going to be crazy at the end? Should I watch this lakorn?
