Geez it hasn't been that long, but I know how you feel, when I first started posting in Spcnet, I was quite addicted, coming on a couple of times a day, and posting in many threads, but as time passed, I started to sign on less and only replying to particular threads. This is one of them. I find that I tend to come on more frequently when I like a particular series, or if Jessica has a series out, I kind of stop posting on here for a few months until "Hua Jai Sila" aired, and I got very addicted to that series, so I had to share with other people my opinions on this series.
Anyhow, the latest Exact series that I remember out at the moment is "bleork sanaeha" with Mam Katreeya and Pong, but I didn't watch this lakorn so I don't know if its any good. I don't know what the next series after this one is. Will update once I know.
I've finally started watching "dung duang Harlitai" with Kwan Usamanee and Vere Sukulrat, I'm really liking it, I've seen the old version with Num and Nat, which happpens to be one of my faves, and this new version isn't bad either, its a bit different to the old version, I found the old version more romantic and closer to the book, whereas this version is more cute. and makes me want to pinch Kwan's cheek cas she looks like a doll.
If you've never seen this series, its quite good, a bit different to other Thai series in regards to the setting, the culture, the costume ect.... but its still a thai series so obviously the signatures found in many thai lakorns are still present.
Basic storyline: There are 3 make-believe countries:
Garsic, the country that is up-north, its mountain region, which is rich in minerals, precious stones, but they are not bodered by sea, which is a problem for the country as they have no way of exporting goods.
Punturak - the middle country, they are more balanced in natural resources.
Tuntak - Not as rich but most of the countryside is borded by sea.
Prince Rungsimun of Garsic (Vere), decided to get married to Princess Maneesla of Tuntak (Rotmere), so that Garsic would have access to Tuntak's seas to export there goods, so basically the marriage is more a business deal. While on her way to Garsic, Princess Maneesla, upon hearing rumours of how horrible and heartless Prince Rungsimun is and the fact that she won't get married to someone she doesn't know/love, flees and happens to run across the border into Punturak, where she is saved by Prince ?tayutitorn? (New).
Princess Tasikar (Kwan), whose New's sister, hears that her brother has saved Rotmere, and is afraid that there maybe a war between the countries because of this incident, and wants her Brother to return Rotmere back to her country. So while going to tell her brother (who was staying at another place), her guards mysteriously all dissapear, and she is left alone in the woods. She gets cold and hungry and sees a man, wearing a cape, sitting by an open fire. He offers her a hot drink, and after sipping it, she discovers that his ring has a secret compartment and that her drink has been drugged! The man, pulls his cape off and its Vere........I'll stop here, don't want to spoil anymore. Unless people want me to.
