Nok is the name of the person who plays the character Meena. I don't remember her in Num and Nat's version. Either that or they didn't emphasize on her character this much because I don't remember this character.

I also have this lakorn dubbed in hmong too! The people who dubbed this lakorn did a great job with voice and sounds, but the bad thing is.. they cut out alot of good and important parts, but you can still understand everything!! I have this on dvd, so if you can wait longer i can also record this one for you as well and its dubbed in hmong.. (well only if i can get it to record)

here is a website that sells alot of dubbed movies. THey have korean, taiwanese, chinese, thai lakorns all dubbed in hmong and hmong movies.. its a little hard to nevigate in their website so good luck.. i dontknow if they sell kang gor rai kang gor rang in this site, but u can always wait for me to record it for you.. uhhh http://www.loojceebentertainment.com/

its easier if you can order directly from the productions company. what i normally do is if i know a lakorn i want and i know who the people that translate the lakorn are and the given title by the company, i would just call the company and order directly from them.. (its cheaper!!) and if you dont know the number of the company, call the contact number on this site, and jsut ask for the productions number..

    good luck!

Andrew Gregson never did a version of Jum Lerh Ruk. I think you're talking about Tarng Parn Kamma Thep with Janie. The storyline is similar in that Andrew and Aum both kidnap the nang aik. But for different reasons. Aum did it because he believes Aff was the cause of his brother's death, Andrew kidnapped Janie because he thought she was going to marry his dad. But of course they both kidnapped the wrong person. There are many lakorns that are similar to these two storylines. Thai people love watching the nang aiks being kidnapped.

Yeah I don't remember the character Meena in Num and Nat's version either. And its been so long since I read the book that I can't remember if her character was in the novel or not. What I do remember in the old version was that one of his two guards was kinda against Prince Rungsiman liking Princess Tasikar, because he knew that the she will eventually return back to her country and he doesn't want to see his king heart broken, but this new version doesn't seem to have this conflict at all.

The two versions are slightly different, especially the way the main characters are depicted. I found Num was more cool, dark and mysterious yet very passionate towards Nat, while Nat was more mature yet innocent in her role. Vere is more stubborn, not as mysterious, but is very dashing, especially when his fighting and/or protecting Kwan. While Kwan is very cute, especially when she smiles. I like both versions.

Like Gugu said, Andrew has never played in any version of "Jum Loey Rak", the last version of this lakorn starred Ning Kulastree and John Nuvo, even though I've got the first episodes of this series, I'm not that excited about it, maybe because I've already seen 2 other versions of this lakorn, and frankly I don't really like the storyline that much. I like Aum Atrichard, but I just don't think he suits this role, while Aaf is perfect for this role but I don't really like her character. When I first heard news that they were going to remake this series, I was like "not again?" probably cas I also read they were gonna remake "suwan bieng" as well. Sigh, can't they find other stories to make.

    "dung Duang Harlitai" to continue

After Vere has captured Kwan, he takes her back to his camp, when she wakes up she realises that she has been captured by non other then the Prince of Garsic. She remembers all the bad rumours about him, she thinks that he is a horrible person, and looks for a way to escape. So she convinces her newly appointed maid to trade clothes with her and she secretly finds a horse and rides away into the woods. Vere realises what she has done and goes after her and recaptures her again. He tells her that the woods are dangerous cas theres lots of dangerous animals and she shouldn't try to escape again. On there way back to the camp, he lies to her saying that they are lost and have to spend the night in the woods until his men find them. The next morning, he shows her the view of his country and the brillaince of the sun rise, he tells her the meaning of his name "rungsimun" meaning "the ray of the sun". Where ever the sun rays touches, it will warm up, just like him. (this phase has double meaning, he also means that his rays can warm her up too)

His men finds him and they continue on there way to Garsic's capital. But instead of taking the direct, shorter route, Vere decides to take her through more rougher terrains, and when questioned, he says he is taking this chance to go see how his people are doing in the countryside. (we all know he is just wasting time and wants to spend more time with her, plus he likes to tease her too).

    Continue more later.

It's called Laud Lai Mung Korn, and it's the worst series ever, imo.

Okay ladies and germs, Ogakira created a karaoke thread. I order you all to sing a piece and post it up! I'll be doing a song too!

Here's a link for those that are too lazy to search for it.
