After Vere has captured Kwan, he takes her back to his camp, when she wakes up she realises that she has been captured by non other then the Prince of Garsic. She remembers all the bad rumours about him, she thinks that he is a horrible person, and looks for a way to escape. So she convinces her newly appointed maid to trade clothes with her and she secretly finds a horse and rides away into the woods. Vere realises what she has done and goes after her and recaptures her again. He tells her that the woods are dangerous cas theres lots of dangerous animals and she shouldn't try to escape again. On there way back to the camp, he lies to her saying that they are lost and have to spend the night in the woods until his men find them. The next morning, he shows her the view of his country and the brillaince of the sun rise, he tells her the meaning of his name "rungsimun" meaning "the ray of the sun". Where ever the sun rays touches, it will warm up, just like him. (this phase has double meaning, he also means that his rays can warm her up too)

His men finds him and they continue on there way to Garsic's capital. But instead of taking the direct, shorter route, Vere decides to take her through more rougher terrains, and when questioned, he says he is taking this chance to go see how his people are doing in the countryside. (we all know he is just wasting time and wants to spend more time with her, plus he likes to tease her too).

    Continue more later.
Thanks sutisa! sounding soo good, now you're making me really want to watch it.. i think i shall watch it once i catch up with the list of lakorn that i am trying and currenly watching..

But of course they both kidnapped the wrong person. There are many lakorns that are similar to these two storylines. Thai people love watching the nang aiks being kidnapped.
Thanks.. yeah too many lakorn w/ the kidnapping for me to remember. see i remember Andrew kidnapping a girl(i dont even recall it to be janie, see how bad i am) and they were at i think the beach.. but yeah.. thanks!

I like Aum Atrichard, but I just don't think he suits this role, while Aaf is perfect for this role but I don't really like her character. When I first heard news that they were going to remake this series, I was like "not again?" probably cas I also read they were gonna remake "suwan bieng" as well. Sigh, can't they find other stories to make.
yeah.. i notice they do alot of remakes!!! but thanks for letting me know as well!

Even though I really like Noon and Oil, I had to pass on this lakorn, read the storyline before the series was released and thought it was too sad for my liking, even though "Kaan lum korng" was quite sad too, but just not as sad as this one.

I wouldn't say Laud Lai Mung Korn is the worst series ever, but I think (for some reason) its a series that adults would enjoy more, the series is about P'Tua Sarunyu and how he came from china, with nothing and started his family in Thailand, starting with nothing and working his way up to becoming successful. But the struggle within the series is he marries a Thai lady as his second wife, when he already has a (chinese) wife and the rest of the series goes on to talk about his children. I suppose the rest you should be able to figure out when you have a bi*chy first wife and a too kind second wife and their children.....plus if I remember correctly, Pepper's plays the bad guy in this series or I should say his character isn't the nicest guy in the series. I also gave this series a pass.

I'm also passing on "Songkram Nang fah" that the series that ascandaloussin posted the pic off, with Kong Nuvo and Bee Namtip, this is the latest Exact lakorn, like I said I'm not a fan of Bee.

    Whose Brenda? any pics please.......

Ah Gugu, what song are you gonna sing? I don't have anything to record, so I'm sorry to say that I won't be joining in on this one, but I'm more then happy to listen to you! If I had a choice of what song I would sing, it would be "Rawarng rao keh arai" by Lydia, but because I cannot do high notes nor can I do that nasal thing that she does, I'd have to pick another song and that song would be "Ying diew nai jai" by Dunk Pungorn, my most fave song.

    "dung Duang Harlitai" to continue

Vere, his two gaurds and Meena all grew up together, he thinks of Meena like a younger sister, but she loves him and has always hoped that he will return her love one day. And so to be different from other ladys, she takes up sword fighting, shooting arrows ect... she is trained to fight like a man. Once Meena (Nok Usanee) hears news that Vere is returning back to his castle, she rides out to meet him in the countryside. Only to find him with another women, who isn't his fiance-to-be and she gets very jealous. She does all she can to make Kwan look inferior, to her, especially when she knows that Kwan is the Princess of Punturak, she keeps pointing out that Kwan is here as a prisoner/slave of Garsic.

While we know why Vere has captured and refuses to release Kwan, but Kwan really thinks that she is a prisoner and hopes that one day, the two princess will be swapped, so then she can return back to her country. She thinks that she is a stand-in for Rotmere, Vere's true fiance, and she can't help but feel jealous when she sees Vere and Meena. One day, Meena comes up with a plan to embarrass Kwan, by challenging her to a bet, to see who can climb the mountain faster, and higher and pick this white flower. Meena, wins with ease cas she's well trained, but Kwan doesn't give up that easily, she tries to climb higher but loses her footing and slips but Vere catches her in time, but she has hurt herself and Faints. (she gets hurt/sick and faints a lot in this series and each and nearly everytime, Vere is there to catch her. Its quite cute how he goes into a frenzy cas he's worried about her.) When she wakes up, he gives her some flowers, its a white flower and the middle of it is in the shape of a heart.

This has got to be my most fave line in the series so far

Vere: "the flower hearts is delicate but also very strong. This flower does not yet have a name, but from this day forward, the flower will be called "hua Jai Tasikar" (lit. Tasikar's heart)

Kwan: "why don't you call the flower "hua Jai Rungsimun?"

Vere: "if Punturak (her country) has a flower with no-name, he will let her name it "hua jai Rungsimun"

Kwan: "well then you should give this name to Tuntak"

Vere: "I should know myself where/which country "hua Jai Rungsimun" should be kept!" Aargh I love that line.

Meanwhile back in Punturak, New and Rotmere are actually starting to like each other, so he doesn't want to send her back to her country, knowing all too well that if she returns, she will eventually be sent to Garsic to marry Vere. But, if he doesn't let her go, he may never see his sister again, and all the official and his mum are pressuring him to let Rotmere return to Tuntak, so that they can avoid going to War with Garsic and for the safe return of Kwan........

Thats all for tonight, need to sleep, will continue only for a bit more tomorrow, don't want to spoil the whole series for people. Hope this is making sense, cas I'm kind of going by memory, cas in my mind I know whats happening.

    Default Duang Dang Harulitai

Are we talking about the older version with Nam and Nat or the new version? I didn't like the Num/Nat version so much, but it may have been due to the slow progress of the story.

Yes, youtube has all the episodes. I think more than one person uploads it.

Click on this page http://youtube.com/profile?user=lilazngirl6 and go to playlists, there is a lot of lakorns on this person's playlist. If you want better quality downloads, just let me know.

Sutisa... I actually liked the version of Laud Lai Mung Korn before that one with Khun Tua. And back then I was around 10 years old. And actually I was kind of waiting for a remake, but the current one just didn't have that same feeling for me. I don't know how to explain it but I really didn't like it at all. I ended up fast forwarding through all of it.

And about the karaoke, I'm not going to be the only one posting up thai songs if no one else is going to. I'd feel weird. And of course you can do Lydia's songs! You don't have to make it sound exactly like hers. That's the whole point of karaoking! You make it your own. If you want her karaoke, I offer to send it to you! I recorded two songs last night. Ruk Mai Dai Kliud Mai Lhonge by Ae Sasikarn from the lakorn Likit Kamma Tape, and Mai Aht Pen Kaung Ter by Tina of Preppy G from the lakorn Mae Krua Kone Mai. It doesn't sound professional at all, I end up laughing everytime I record. I'll be happy to share with you all if someone posts up their songs too.

And as for lakorns right now, I think Jum Lerh Ruk with Aum and Aff is the best one on air now. Besides that, I'm waiting for my boran lakorn Sung Torn.

There are many ways to spelling the titles when we are all using the 'karaoke' style. For example, I don't spell my stuff like other people. So I do a wide search just by putting in 'Dung Duang' beceause those two are the easiest to spell and most people will spell it the same way. If you need help finding anything else let me know!

Didn't they do a remake on Sung Torn already. The last boran lakorn I watch was Pra Tinawong, only the first episode.

Even if you gave me the karaoke, I still don't have anything to record with, so I'm gonna have to pass on this, but you still enter, it doesn't matter if you're the only one singing Thai, actually its probably better cas everyone else will probably be singing chinese or English, so your entry will set you apart from others! Hmm why don't you try singing a Lydia song?

I think the last Boran lakorn I watched was about 10 years ago, its called Ngoc Bah, and I only watched it cas Nook Sutida was playing N'ek. Its just not my thing.

Yeah I just use my own way of spelling Thai words into English, so don't take my way of spelling as the official thing cas others may spell it slightly different.

Also I need to correct something, I keep referring to Vere's first name as Sakulrat, when its actually Sakulavat.

I actually hate Baron Lakorns.. My mom used to watch those all the time, and her friend used to make me record them for her all the time (before dvd was popular) And i would have to site and kinda sorta watch them, their acting was soo bad, and their props her soo fake.. oh and the computer work were pretty bad, but ofcourse that was almost 10 years ago as well.. Do they still make those kinda lakorns??

Everyone used thier own way of spelling thai words into english.. I try to make mines the easiest i can...

ascandaloussin, that series with Noon and Paul is pretty good, its called "rahut huajai", definetly watch it.

I like Uttsadawoot too, my fave series of his is "darlard rorngjae likgae kwarmrak" with Diana, that was such a cute series. I so hope that Diana plays in more series.

People, I won't be able to give you my last installment of "Dung Duang Harlitai" until the weekend, don't have time, but definitely will continue. Gosh I don't know how those wuxia translators do it, summarising/translating is a lot of hard work, and very time consuming, cas the English language just doesn't seem to have the right/same words so sometimes 1 Thai word = 10 english words!

I haven't seen Uttsadawoot since benja keeta kwan ruk.. I would love to see him more often.. there's this amazing look about him that makes him sooo handsome!

I"ll patiently wait for your summary.. ehehee.. Thanks soo much!! Its always like that, each time i am ask to translate into english or vise versa, its so hard to just translate it, b/c sometimes one work means soo much..
