don't mind if i'm asking...why many people not really like bee namtip n pong nawat...i'm new with thai lakorn n just become huge fan...

I can't speak on behalf of everyone else, I don't really like Bee Namptip's look plus I haven't watched a series of hers where I 've actually really liked the character she's played. Now this could change if one day she played in a lakorn and I've really liked her character. As for Pong Nawat, I like him better as supporting, especially in an evil/bad role, his looks suit that better. The only series where I've liked him as lead is "leh pumaret" but again his character wasn't a good person even though he was P'ek. This is obviously my opinion only, also sometimes it hard to explain why you like/dislike certain actors/actresses. I'm sure some of my favourites you don't like either. Though I'm also sure that the more lakorns you watch, the more people you'll like or dislike. And Yes Thai lakorns are very addictive.

Can you give me more information? I know who Kevlin Cortland is but I don't know who channika sujjaritkul is. That name doesn't sound familiar at all. Do you have a picture or something? As anything with Kevlin Cortland as N'ek will be quite old now as she hasn't played in a lakorn for ages.

Okay, I've figured out who Channika Sujjaritkul (ฟ้า ชนิกา สุจริตกุล) and its no wonder I couldn't remember that name as she has left the thai entertainment industry for like years now and Kevlin Cortland (อ้อน เกวลิน คอตแลนด์) isn't quite as active in recent years. But I think I've managed to find the name of the lakorn your after.

It's called "หลังม่านมายา" "Lung marn maya" lit Behind the curtain of show business.

I never watched this lakorn so I have no idea what the lakorn is about and it's definetly not a Ch3 or Ch7 lakorn, I don't think it was a highly rated or highly popular lakorn (judging from the main cast) which means that it might be a lot harder to find. But good luck

If this is not the series, can you please give me more details as there are quite a few Vampire lakorns. It just happens that this one was the one that came straight to mind. I don't know why...

who's all watching this new series? i saw the first episode and i have to say that out of all the thai series out this year this one looks the most promising. well since i'm used to the storyline cause it's a remake and all i still think they did a pretty good job with the cast. loving chatchai for his evilness. and donut has really turned into a 'witch' now, can't believe she used to play the nang aik.

I haven't been here in so long...nothing interesting to watch...All the ones I want to see don't air until later on, like Warng Num Karng with Win and Pinky, Prajan See Roong with Bie and Aff, Sapai Glai Peung Tiang with Chakrit and Ann T...Soot Saneha with Ken and Ann T. for the fourth time...

But, I did find Meu Nang a bit interesting, with Kwan and some newbie Teng. I'm personally not a fan of the mistreated and misunderstood n'ek, but it's a lakorn, that's all there is really...and Kwan happens to play those chicks often. I'm watching Meu Nang too. Yeah its a bit creepy about the hand thing but I suppose its a bit different. Plus I really like the actress who plays Kwan's mum. It also helps that I like Kwan too! That newbie P'ek "Tengneng" is from that boy band B.O.Y. He is quite cute though I find Tle Tawan cuter.

Actually if you think the hand thing is creepy, about 15 years ago, Ch7 produced this series called "see sak marn" and N'ek was played by none other then the lady who plays Kwan's mum in this series! Chadaporn. Now in that series, N'ek, again in a car accident, got her head sliced off at the neck! But her head was still alive and her crazy scientist uncle feed her some sort of chemical concuction to keep her going. From memory I think her head could like fly around? But cas she wanted to be normal looking (so she could be with P'ek) the uncle had to find appropriate bodies for her and kind of connect her head on. but the bodies would eventually rot so he had to keep finding new bodies. I also remember that she had some sort of mental power, where she could move things by looking at it. But everytime she used too much power, she would get really weak and eventually she found out when she drank blood, it would boost her power by heaps. So Chadaporn was N'ek and N'rai at the same time. That had to be one of the weirdest lakorn's I've ever watched! And I only watched it cas of Chadaporn.

I don't know why Donut is playing N'rai, I think she is still N'ek material. She looks and act better then some of those other newbie ch3 actresses. For example, Margie in "Badarn Jai". I found that I was watching the series more for Donut and Leoput then for Margie and Aum. Margie voice and acting (plus character) was especially annoying at the start of the series before she married Aum.

I'm watching Meu Nang too. Yeah its a bit creepy about the hand thing but I suppose its a bit different. Plus I really like the actress who plays Kwan's mum. It also helps that I like Kwan too! That newbie P'ek "Tengneng" is from that boy band B.O.Y. He is quite cute though I find Tle Tawan cuter.

Actually if you think the hand thing is creepy, about 15 years ago, Ch7 produced this series called "see sak marn" and N'ek was played by none other then the lady who plays Kwan's mum in this series! Chadaporn. Now in that series, N'ek, again in a car accident, got her head sliced off at the neck! But her head was still alive and her crazy scientist uncle feed her some sort of chemical concuction to keep her going. From memory I think her head could like fly around? But cas she wanted to be normal looking (so she could be with P'ek) the uncle had to find appropriate bodies for her and kind of connect her head on. but the bodies would eventually rot so he had to keep finding new bodies. I also remember that she had some sort of mental power, where she could move things by looking at it. But everytime she used too much power, she would get really weak and eventually she found out when she drank blood, it would boost her power by heaps. So Chadaporn was N'ek and N'rai at the same time. That had to be one of the weirdest lakorn's I've ever watched! And I only watched it cas of Chadaporn.

I think the lakorn your talking about is called "kra ser" which is a type of ghost that the Thai's/Cambodian people believe in. This was also a Ch7 produced lakorn and I watched that lakorn too. I remember my aunt was really against me watching that series cas she thought it was too scary for me and I would have nightmares. So I had to sneak to watch it!

Yeah in that series, N'ek's relatives have all been "Kra ser". I can't remember how it started in her family but N'ek inherited from her mother or maybe it was her grandmother and the way you passed it on was by saliva. So if you drank from the same cup as someone who is a Kra ser, you will eventually turn into one. And when you become one, your head will detatch from your body and the head just flys around with your intestines hanging and your heart lights up and flashes. Even till this day, I remember the scenes when N'ek starts to writher around and she moves her neck around, getting ready for her head to detach from her body! Eerie... Then the head floats around looking for blood and guts and that to eat. Also N'ek was played by none other then Kwan's step mother in "Meur Nang!" That series was scary but "see sak marn" was more weird. Maybe because "kra ser" was based upon a real belief as in that particular ghost is believed to actually exist. Ask your Mum if she has seen "see sak marn"?

You're right...it is Kra Ser, and that was way freakier because of the fact people believed in that mess...

But SSM doesn't look too creepy, cuz at least it's just her head floating...I don't think she's seen it though, cuz I would've seen it too. We always watched lakorns together, even if I didn't like it, I would've known...She was more towards a different group of n'eks and p'eks...like, sam, chatchai, sarunyu, johnny, jakkrit...mostly the things they were in...N'eks like Mam, Kob, Joy S., Mew...
