Hey! I've just finished watching a load of Thai series recently. I do have to say CH7 series were so good this year. Even ones that I had no expectations for like Benja Kita kwam rak. This was such a cute series. The guys were definetely cute. I think thats what got me hooked! and I have to say Um patchrapa was hot this year. Every series she was in was good (and they had good ratings too) I especially like the one with Oil Tana. She so deserved her award.

Hey sutisa! I guess your a ch7 fan, I actually like both ch7 and ch3 but I prefer ch3 lakorns as the actors and production seems to be better than ch7. And yeah i saw jaow gum nai wen and I loved it, although it was quite confusing (cos of the 4 lifetimes). Anyways at the moment i'm watching alot of lakorns my favorites being mae i sa uen (ch7 with Nun + V), kiew warn 2001 (although Oum's character seems to have a IQ below 50 lol), and can't wait for Koo Gum and Rern mai si biege (Andrew and Cherry my fav couple atm). What lakorn are u watching at the moment. Oh btw I live in sydney.

I watch both Ch7 and Ch3 but yes I do prefer ch7 and i am a Por fan. I also don't like watching sad series, thats why I'm not watching the Noon/Vee one cas the whole series is supposed to be sad, especially the ending! I'm still debating whether to watch Koo Gum, I like Num and Benz but I don't know whether I can stand another version! especially when I liked Bird/Kwang's version alot.

I'm starting to watch Fai See Gnin with Noi/Charit, just finished Gor var ja may rak with rita/gong, Geelate marn with Joy/Oou, Kai drong song rak with Sai/Bee (very funny series) and hong hoon with vute/yui.

mSsHoRtCaKe, I like nearly all those series you listed too and I can see your a Noon fan. I know Ch7 always have the same people but I still tend to like Ch7 series more cas some of my all time favourite series were Ch7. For example I like Kao Blerk with Tao and Kat and Mayadavan with Sam and Chadaporn. More recent ones would be Jit Sung harn with Por and Um, Angkor with Pete and Emma and Jaow Suw Noi with Sai and Eakarat.

The series I'm waiting for now is the one with Mos and Kob.

oops sorry u're a por fan! lol, just what i think of hm that's all. anyways, who else do u like?

i liked jit san hun too. it was a cool lakorn but drag a bit near the end. it was one of the few action lakorns i like. and i like the angkor song! hehe..it was like "angkor...angkor..."

u watch a lot of thai lakorns. i don't really watch all of them, only the ones people say is really good or has someone i like. but i totally agree i hate tearjerkers! (i.e. nie yuan in CGS-but it was still good b/c of him!)

lol.. I agree with u mSsHoRtCaKe ch7 does use the same actors all the time, i mean i don't mind bor but seeing him time much does get annoying. Also i wish ch7 could get more actors than the usual bunch, it'll give the viewers more variety to chose from, like the actors on ch3. I alway don't like the production of some lakorns especially those made by DIDA and now even Kantana is getting bad. I like DARAVIDEO AND BOA JIN JONG have chose better actors make better productions. MY FAV actress is Anne Thongprasom, I've been her fan ever since Jao Jom, but i don't have a fav actor. I like nuun especially now in 'mae i sa eurn' her acting has improved immensely., as for Um i use to really like her, her acting is good, but somehow i fell her personality and and the way she acts a bit fake (don;t mean to offen u Sutisa).

    My fav lakorns include:

2 naree, jao sai brisanar, rang gao, samee didra, manee yad far, and nargshow lol.

Non-Ann lakorns that i like include:

Niras 2 pop, targ parn gamatape, jao gum nai when, Are ya ruk, dong dok mae, sa pay jao, gaw wa ja mai ruk, monruk louk tung (CH7), Guen guen guen, 100 lai sa nai rai (ch5), and many more but can't think of any at the momemt hehe

okay my summary of 2 naree

starts out with a scence where sirens from police cars are blazing as they aproach a bush area filled with men and 1 girl (that being ann). allegedly she was being gang raped by these men. cut to another seen where she is talking to a psychiatrist about her life, she tells him that when she was in university she was gang raped by come male students and this has been placed in her mind that she cannot rease and has urges toward this (this is actually a lie and she only says these things to make her feel that her life is useless and that this only happens because her mother cos for her twin sister to have a good life and her to live in poverty and become garbage of society).

NOw backtrack to the actually story, we see anne's mother fighting with her father and they want a divorce. As her father is rich, her mother demand 2 million baht for one of the babie. The motehr gives him the younger one called 2 (song) and keep teh older one called 1 (nung). Thus they live completely different life. Soon nung's mother gets tricked by a new boyfriend and uses up all of the money and they have to live in a slum. while song get to live a 'rich' little kids life well nutured and love.

20 years later they grow up having different personalities, belief and social standards. nung blames her mother for the poverty and her new stepfather who tries to grope her and wants to sleep with her. she also blame song, saying that she is lucky and that she'll try anyway possible to pull her down and take everything away from her that should have belonged to herself.

sorry if its confusing i'll explain more later, gotta go cya

I don't mind if people don't like the same stars that I do, cas every ones got a different opinion. Actually I like most of the people that you guys mentioned too. My favourite Noon series is Kae urm with bee and Dun Rak with Kade. My favourite Ann series is Manee Yard far with Villy and Sai Rung with Johnny. You guys won't believe this but I've actually met Ann before. She is so pretty in real life and really tall and skinny. I happen to know these people who are good friends of hers and when she was returning to Thailand (I live in Melbourne and she was down here studying and she had finished her course and also had just finished filming Sood dung jai with Bib) they were seeing her off at the airport and they asked me if I wanted to come. Of course I said yes. She such a nice person. In real life she looks more farang then Thai though.

As for the series 2 naree, I didn't really like it but Ann's acting was really good in this series. She portrayed both twins really well.

Actually I like quite a lot of actresses from both Channels but these are the ones that I always watch no matter what the series is like:
Nook Sutida - there's just something about her that I like
Aom Sunisa - As a singer
    Um Patcharapa
    Da Chadaporn
    Sai Jarernburak
    Kat English
    Boom Jitdima
    Pok beyatida
    Diana

    As for Guys I like:
Dunk (his my no.1) Tik, Andrew, Por, Pete, Num, Tao, Chakrit, Utt.

ann must be really pretty in person too. she came here too but i didn't get to meet her for free!

so dingnoy, who's the n'ek, song or nung?

i thought noon was most pretty in kae urm; love her crimped hair.

hmm, nothing much for thai lakorns at this moment..everything is just sorta boring. what i am waiting for are chakrit/noon, chakrit/janie new lakorns.

anyway what chinese series are u guys watching now? i just finished not just a pretty face and i love it so much! it's so funny. roger is a really good actor, luv him, especially his bad character in here.

Nung is the bad one and song is N'ek cas she's your typical good girl.

I'm waiting for the one with noon and chakrit too, I saw the preview and it looks interesting but I don't know what the story lines about. All I know is noon makes silk for a living and I think Chakrit's a photographer. It should be good cas it's made by Baw Jin jong and they always make good lakorns.

As for Chinese Series, W files has just come out in Thai here but I don't know whether I should watch it or not cas I don't really like Yoyo mung. There really isn't many series dubbed into thai here, they mainly have a lot of Korean series which I'm not too interested in. At the moment , I'm waiting for Lady Fan (Fan Lei Fa) to be released, it should be out this Monday. As you can see from my signature I'm a very big fan of Jessica Hsuan. So I can't wait.

oh yes the preview looked so good and noon was so pretty, but man i really hope it is good so won't ruin my anticipation. hoping it to be more like kae urm or even better! another one i want to see is kate and oil lakorn..b/c i think kate is pretty cute as well.

so are u watching brook and aum's new lakorn?

i didn't watch W Files too b/c it looked strange. yeah i heard not a lot of chinese series get to AU and it's pretty expensive too. oh is jessica's series out in thai already? funny, we're hear to talk about thai lakorns but end up with our own chinese discussion! hmm i don't really have anything interesting for thai lakorns now.

Wow sutisa i'm so jealous, u actually got to meet p'ann
yeah ann's acting in 2 naree, sigh rong, jao sao brisanar and sa mididra were exceptionally brilliantly

Anyways i live in sydney and cannot understand mandarin or cantonese so i rely on the chineses/HK series to be dubbed in thai. I actually watched W files and found it interesting at the time but later on its just a ordinary series nothing memorable.

At the moment i'm watching CGS up to tape 6, noon's lakorn mae eye sauern (i love it), it portays real human emotions and feelings so well, oh and i love the theme song, don't know if you guys can read thai but heres a line from the chorus "เสียงสะอื้นในใจแต่ไม่มีใครได้ยิน น้ำตาร่วงหล่นริน กลับซ้ำให้ใจยิ่งเหงา เสียงสะอื้นสุดท้ายตอกย้ำชีวิตเศร้าๆ ไม่มีใครเขาจะเข้าใจเราอีกแล้ว" matches with the lakorn verywell. I've also got KOO GUM with benz and soram i just watch about 20 minutes of it and already i'm dissapointed. However, i'm really looking forward to andrews lakorn ' ruan mai si biege' i here alot of praise for this lakorn and also i love cherry.

also, a new lakorn with NUT, sam and jason young called 'Sai yai ruK' is excellent, i think nut got a few tips from ann, now her acting her inprove immensly, bravo to her. the storyline is excellent also, first time seeing jason as the bad guy and also a pimp lol

To answer you first question Yes I'm watching Brook and Aum's new lakorn, I just got the first tape yesterday but haven't seen it yet.

Also i haven't seen Ann's larkorn for awhile, I kinda miss her but I don't like most of the Pra'ek she's been playing with lately.

I've decided not to watch W files, I don't think I can stand to watch Yoyo and the series looks weird. Also Jessica's series hasn't come out in thai yet (it's going to be awhile), I'm actually going to watch it in Cantonese, and no I don't understand the language but I'm too obsessed with her that I can't wait for the Thai version.

My favourite HK stars are Jessica Hsuan, Louis Koo, Flora Chan and Michelle Yip. Who do you guys like?
