I think the Fleur cast is quite pretty. Not drop dead gorgeous as described in the book, but still quite pretty.

And I think the Krum cast is really good-looking. Which krum isn't supposed to be. Ah well, i'm not complaining.

The casts I don't like is Katie and Mad Eye.

I think we all expected too high of Fleur. It's hard to find a girl that is as drop-dead-gorgeous as described, and has the Veela quality of captivating about every male in the room. Her description in the book is just too ethereal and I don't think it can ever be matched. This actress looks good, but I'd prefer if they gave her platinum blond hair like in the book.

Cho Chang, on the other hand, is a severe disappointment. It's like, pluck any random Chinese actress and they'd most likely be prettier than Katie. I just don't get it, is there a lack of pretty Chinese girls in the UK, or are the standards somewhat different?

Not that whining about it will do any good, but I'm just disappointed.. Cho Chang was probably the only 'important' Asian character (and even then, not really important either...), so to choose this girl to play an Asian beauty seems like such a poor representation.

I thought Fleur was ok.. but yeah.. Cho Chang didnt really meet the expectations.. I only hope that her acting don't suck.. As solarstar has said.. its hard to imagine Daniel and her kissing..

Which isn't supposed to be the case, according to the books. This has been one of the biggest peeves among fans of the books, especially after the PoA movie. I find it quite annoying, too. What happened to her bushy hair?!
