I wonder how are they going to squish the 5th book (the longest one) in a 2 and a half hour movie. of course jk rowling's 5th book has a lot of stuff that doesn't need to be included. i find her writing lingering around the 6th-7th grade level. the first and second book was like 5th grade level.

    her writing isn't improving much

What i heard from the media that says that daniel might not be signing for the half blood prince, and also rupert cos they are like way older from their character's age. As for Emma, i think she is gonna stay...

hey I just found this forum and you guys already have 20 pages. Well, I'm kinda of like a harry potter fan and I watched every single one of the movie and read every single one of his books.

I guess you guys are talking about the fourth movie, right?
I thought the movie might be good since I really like the fourth book, but when I watched it, I found out that they skipped a lot of the interesting parts that were described in the book.

But since I have watched all the movies, I thought the third one was the best cause at least in that one, they didn't skip too much info.

My favorite book is the sixth one because it has a lot of the interesting things in them. I dislike the fifth one because I found it to be dull and boring!

    Nope.
Its just that when you start to read Harry Potter, you'll get interested with it and after you've finished a book, you'll start to think that its just isn't enough. But, its different for everyone though.

As for me.. I think Half-Blood Prince is too thin; its thinner that OoTP! and, the seventh book is only gonna be published in 2007...

Who cares if it's thin? It said everything that needed to be said and it's still good. How do you know book 7 is published in 2007?

Why do you consider me a girl when my name makes it so obvious that I'm a boy? And no you're exagerating too much...I never said it's too thin. But yes Harry Potter doesn't use too much "hard" vocabulary. But it is worth reading.

Does it really matter how thin it is? The Order of the Phoenix was way too long, it hurt my head reading the damn thing.

I think that HP6 had too much waffle in it at the beginning. I couldn't help thinking that the story only really started to get excited when they actually get into the cave and everything.
History repeats itself. Historians simply repeat each other.

Well you kind of needed that stuff in order to understand the rest of it. And the information wasn't exactly anything that you can push through in a couple of pages.

i found the 6th book all right

i thought the 5th book was crap, so i expect the 5th movie to be crap too, although i thought that all the HP movies were a bit dodgy

Oops, now.. Sorry, I mixed up the date with the release date of the OoTP film. Apologies. Anyways, yeah.. whatever you say, its too thin.. I can't get off wanting to know what happens next. Aah.. I complain too much sometimes, but this is Harry Potter.
