It is a french word, and it's pronounced ' gah - toe '.

ooohhhh thanks for that!! sometimes tvb actors/actresses can get the pronunciation wrong (esp english - sam's (from triumph in the skies) english was pretty bad... lol). and since im not a french speaker, i just wanted to know how it is pronunced.

The correct spelling is "gateaux".

The funny thing is that "gateux" is a word that exists in French and means "somebody old and who doesn't know what he is doing".

The third spelling "gatevx" is just wrong, doesn't mean anything.

what i noticed was that at the end episodes, when joe and myolie had the competition, there was an English man who annouced the beginning of the competition and he pronounced "gateaux" wrong, he said it like "ga - too" so I thought that was a bit weird. Did anybody else notice that or what?

Ok all I have to say for this serie is that Joe and Myolie don't match. One is too old and one is too young. I think Myolie matches with Jack because they both did a great job in NET DECEPTION.

overall, i liked this series. it was really funny especially when myolie would daydream. haha but the ending disappointed me a little because it seemed like they had to suddenly cut it short.

i have a question.

Tong Sueng is meant to extremely blind without her glasses (the ep where she meets "nine aunt", when her glasses are gone, the scene from her prespective was extremely blurred) after the competition between her and Ken and she ends up in hospitial, when she wakes up, her view of seeing Ken is well, normal (slightly blurred or it could be my tv)...

shouldnt the director have made that scene very blurry? ahahah im just picking at the show!

There are some storyline inconsistency in this series........overall, Myolie did a great job though (then again, I might be biased).

I had to get used to her look but after a couple of episodes I found it okay on her. Hehe. Her facial expressions were just as good as usual. I don't know anything about cakes so I wouldn't know where they got the ideas from for the competitions, Grifis, hehe.:P

I don't know, I never watch them in vietnamese because I can't understand it. Maybe you can check your local rental store.

I thought Myolie was really cute, and I felt so sorry for her when she felt like she couldn't do anything except work at her dad's dry cleaners place.
