i just finished zhong and jing's story yesterday night. i admit, it is sad and cute at times, but it wasn't as good as i expected. (maybe its because so many people have said that its soo good and raised my expectations too much). i thought sun fei fei was so ugly in the beginning, but she seemed to get prettier and prettier each next scene (wonder why?) wierd. fan bing bing looks awesome though i couldn't care less about her and zhang dan feng.

it's filmic manipulation to draw you into the character and their growth and development, with attractiveness being just one element.

it's alright, but nothing really special. It's a nice break from ZJZ though, and the main lead... Huang Hai Bing

. Other than that, there's a nice love story between Jing and Zhong, but the love story between the leads is IMO rather bland and boring. FBB looks good in here though, and you can't fault her acting- you just happened to care nothing for her.

The intersting for me to watch this series is love story between Yun Lei and Deng Feng. The revenging make the two turn to lover, Huang Hai Bing in here so handsome, Bing Bing is cute and pretty . Sun Nan voice is pretty good. his songs is good when listen at night times make me have a good sleep.hehe~Huang Xiao Ming appear a bit in here he looks good in white costume. I think Yu Na looks more pretty in modern than ancient.

I like FBB's character in the beginning when she was after Deng Feng’s father for revenge. However, somewhere in the middle when she began to accept Deng Feng’s love her character became boriiiiiiiiing.

Though, the soundtracks were amazing. I loved the opening & ending songs. Does anyone know the singers of the theme songs?

The opening theme, Pu Tong Ying Xiong 普通英雄 is sung by Mao Ning 毛宁 and the end theme Hu Die Zi Zai, 蝴蝶自在 is sung by the actress for Tan Tai Jing Ming, 韩雪 and the actor who plays Yun/Zhang Zhong.
