Looks very like it. Maybe it was during the costume fittings or something because Esther was orignially cast as Yueru and I think Ady as Ah Nu. Thank God they switched roles!!

Ady would probably make Ah Nu less annoying but then..Esther would probably make Yueru into an irritating and dumb character!

I thought A Nu was a cute character, but the actress playing her wasn't that good. Man, I was getting sick of the series when she kept going, "Gong Zhu blah blah blah". But even if they switched roles, I'd still like the character Yue Ru better because she's really noble and loyal to Xiao Yao, while A Nu is overconcerned with food.

Ah Nu was practically a dumb and childish role and Esther made it worse..almost retarded-like and unbelivabley annoying. Until now, i still can't figure which irks me more..the role, actress or dubbing. Ady might make Ah Nu cute at most but one can only go so far with a silly character like that. I would probably switch camps and root for Ling'er if Esther had played Yueru.

Personally, I think it was the voice and the character, Esther.. she was 15 or so......I didn't expect something TOO spectacular. Ah Nu was very annoying for me.. reminded me of this animated character who i hated dearly.

I think it was more of the role that made Esther a dislikeable actress. Her acting, although not that good, was quite satisfactory. Her other shows were quite nicely done, too. She sort of forced herself to portray that irritating girl in the show.

One true unbearable actress who thought she was sooooooooooooo cute woyuld be the fellow band member of the band Sweetie Esther was in. In the show Magicians of Love, she will make all of you puke. Over exaggerated acting. I wince and cringe in pain everyttime she did an act-cute action. Puh-lease

Yep. I remember now. She was Xiao Bei in that show.

No. In the first few episodes, she was one of the girls who were living in the same village with LXY, she said something like LXY marrying her or something. A very small role hardly anybody bothered to remember her.

Ah Nu… oh, how I detested her! Her character’s constant whining and the way she always pouted her lips nearly drove me to point of insanity! I'm sorry, but I did not find anything cute about her at all, and every one of her scenes were dreadful for me to watch. It didn’t help that the girl who dubbed her voice was annoying as heck. All I have to say is thank god for the forward button.

BTW, I had no idea that Esther was only 15. I think she looks really old for someone her age.

Yeah, aren't they adorable? Ady and Dylan are really good friends in real life. They have chemistry both on and off the screen, which is why I love seeing them in pictures together.
