If im not wrong, she gets a sad ending because Raymond obviously ends up with Tammy. I saw a couple of episodes on youtube and sadly, Ady's character isn't that interesting or likeable; she plays some top designer who's the outgoing and sassy type. Her character likes Raymond's but he treats her only as a lil sis. In addition, Ady only appears a little here and there, since she's not a leading character.

The plot is mediocre as well, which is disappointing since i thought at least it would be more interesting than "Fast Track Love".

The role of 7th fairy (Xiao Qi) was initially offered to Ady but she turned it down to do something else. The role then went to Ariel Lin.

Yes!! The director for TWFX and LOCH'07 also directed Chinese Paladin. Since the response for the Ady+Hu Ge pairing was good in Chiense Paladin, he wanted to cast them together again. Gee, it would have been nice to see Ady play HR.

I wasn't really interested in TWFX; caught a couple of episodes and didn't bother finishing it because i was pretty sick of the "Tian Xian Pei" (Love btw Qi Xiannu and Dong Yong) story due to countless repeated adaptations. The characters weren't that appealing either, though i agree Ady might have been even more popular in mainland and maybe even gotten the role of HR in the latest LOCH adaptation if she had accepted the role in TWFX, because the series was very well-recieved in Asia.

Anyhow, latest news is that Ady's managment is in talks with the producer of a new costume adaptation of the famous "Niu Lang Zhi Nu" (Cowherd and Weaving Maiden) story. Rumours has it that Ady is offered the leading role of Zhi Nu (weaving maiden) and seems likely to accept the role for her manager told the press that they find the producers sincere and the script good. Most importantly, Ady has been offered a good price of abt US$10,000 per episode. But her manager stressed that nothing has been confirmed yet and both parties have yet to sign any agreement.

Isn't that basically the same story as TWFX?? I thought Dong Yong WAS the cowherd and the seventh daughter was a weaver (she weaved the stars or something?).

Zhi Nu (Weaving maiden) weaves the clouds in heaven.

The plot for both stories are the same (immortal+human love) but certain details differ. And if im not wrong, both stories were written by different people.

I always though they were different stories because of TVB's "Legend of Love" (adataptation of "Niu Lang Zhi Nu") where the weaving maiden didn't have 6 other sisters and was the Queen Mother's grandaughter. In "Tian Xian Pei" (original title for Qi Xiannu and Dong Yong's story), I don't know what the 7th fairy does..does she weave clouds as well? Anyhow, she and her 6 other sisters are the daughters of Queen Mother as opposed to the weaving maiden, who was portrayed as the grandaughter.

Dong Yong and Niu Lang are portrayed as different characters as well though someone told me that Niu Lang and Zhi Nu might be the names Qi Xiannu and Dong Yong adopted when they lived together on earth because Dong Yong herd the bulls while Qi Xiannu did weaving for a living.

I think Tian Liang has only been in another series before, that's it, since his primary profession is diving. Anyhow i agree, they look rather awkward together. They didnt know each other before this and when Ady arrived at the conference, she learnt that Tian Liang is attached and is very close to his gf so she joked to the press that she will maintain a distance from him outside filming so as not to spark off any scandals. Not that Ady is well-known to get into rumours with her male co-stars, well,except maybe the lights ones with HXM and Peter Ho.

Now that Ady's going to film this series, I wonder whether she's still doing that new series with Dylan? Hopefully it wont be another one of those like WROL or NBOL where she appears as a sort of supporting guest-star.

Yikes! Tian Liang doesn't have the charisma to be a lead especially in an ancient series too.

Honestly, what the heck is Ady thinking? Turned down the role of Xiao Qi for which project exactly because frankly speaking, none of Ady's projects after The Outsiders and Chinese Paladin have been close to memorable.

I hope she's still up for the drama with Dylan. Taiwan needs Ady too.

I've recently watched "The Legend of Heroes" with Ady and Peter. Honestly, it wasn't that very good since I basically skimmed through it despite Ady being in it. I think the series with Huang Xiao Ming was pretty good though but Ady's role wasnt a breakthrough one.

And I thought The Cowherd and The Weaver Girl is a different story from Dong Yong and Qi Xian Nu. I think "The Legend of Love" by TVB was very touching. I'm not very fond of Ady's male co-star though. Maybe he'll prove me wrong onscreen.

If only they can do a remake of HSDS and have Ady as Zhao Min [: (and Hu Ge as ZWJ)

"The Legend of Hero" is a rather bad production imo. And Ady's character was just boring, boring, boring.

I skimmed through the first couple episodes of DHTZ3 and found if average, nothing exciting. Ady's character is pretty annoying in there though; she's like Yueru though a more spoilt and unlikeable version. HXM was so-so, i heard the third installment is the worst out of the 3 lots.

I would love to see them together again in HSDS if possible. Hu Ge can definitely pull off a role such as ZWJ (in fact, i think he suits roles as such more so than GJ in LOCH) and I dont think Ady would have a problem with ZM; she can pull off outgoing and cunning roles. I wouldnt mind seeing her or Yang Mi as ZM though i think Ady would fit the role better since YM has a more childish and innocent vibe to her which doesnt seem right for ZM.
