besides xian jian, the outsiders 1 and 2 as well as blazing courage and the legend of hero, i cant seem to find any other ady series is stores. though ady is lead in blazing courage and the legend of hero, her screentime is minimal, since her character is both series is not outstanding, especially in blazing courage where she appeared so little and played a rather boring character, i thought the 2nd lead actress (the one who's paired up with blue lan) had like a more important character thn ady, and more screentime.

i dont think there's anymore upcoming series where ady has loads of screentime, unlike in the outsiders, in fact i think ady had the most screentime and was undisputably the female lead in the outsiders 1 and 2. the series she did after hero was da han tian zi 3, which centres around emperor han wudi, and no doubt huang xiaoming would get all the screentime. and she's 2nd lead in her latest series with vicki and its no question that vicki would get all the hype instead.

I heard other than TV dramas, she is also in charge of a Taiwan TV show programme with Wu Zhongxian. ( Forgot the title...but not Jacky Show) Is it on sale?

nope, dun think that is the case. Jacky Wu's current partners from his various variety shows are Liu Zhen, A-ya, Rainie Yang, Xiao Pan Pan, Cai Shu Zhen and Hong Xiao-lei.

well, she's obviously trying to break into the mainland market right now, so its a given that she has to take some supporting roles and whatnot. i mean, all the mainland dramas she's partisapated in so far have been fairly large scale productions that will get alot of publicity once they're relesed. I think its a good idea, for now at least, that she get more name recongition in the mainland, and she can do that by taking part in bigger productions, even if they are secondary characters. china is where her jobs'll be coming from from in the future, so making these small sacrifices are pretty much worthwhile.
besides, career wise, she obviously doesnt want to stay in taiwan forever, all the taiwanese actresses who have any potential go to mainland eventually.
still, i dunno about her drama with vicki and luyi, i mean yeah these are big names but there's also alot of negative publicity that will come with vicki, she almost has as many haters as she does supporters, and alot of people will be turned off the drama simply because she's in it. ady should definetely do more ancient dramas, following alyssia chia or ruby lin's footsteps wouldn't be so bad.

is she in any taiwan variey shows? not that i know of, since i dont really fancy shows of that type, some are rather hilarious but some are just trash.

and yes, divinefish, i hope she'll star in more ancient productions, it'll be great to see her in a wuxia role, though she looks gd in modern ones too. i guess the roles she's getting now can at least provide her with more experience and room to improve before she really shines in a juicy leading role, only thn would ppl respect her more, rather thn just dissing her as some lucky actress that lands herself in a wow role but doesnt have enough skills. she's naturally decent and would blossom well one day given the chances.
