Too much criticism is dangerous. Take the case of that korean actress who commited suicide because of it. Do you really want to be responsible for another person's death because you cannot moderate yourself?

I don't think you can blame a person's death over some crude comments made by strangers on the net. When a person decides to make a fatal decision, then issue runs much deeper.

It's true that you can't blame those crude comments to be a reason of someone's death.

But it's not a reason for anyone to make those rude and offensive comments to celebrities.

Public person isn't the victim for anyone to harass with dirty comments.

Can we please not discuss Liu Yi Fei in Ady's thread? Let's get back on topic.

And please no allegations of actresses sleeping around without substantial proof.

"Yun Niang" is not based on any of Qiong Yao's novel. In fact, it's not even written by Qiong Yao. The only thing "Yun Niang" has in common with many of Qiong Yao's tv series is that it is directed by one of Qiong Yao's favorite director, Shen Shi (spelling? pronunciation?). This is the same director that directed Mei Hua San Nong, Shui Yun Jian, etc..

hahah this is so laughable! tabloid media doesnt need proof to print/air celebrity rumours. given this, you expect substantial proof on the internet?

I'm not a fan of QY and am not familiar with her novels. The earlier news on this series reported it as a QY adaptation and so i quoted as such.

It's quixotic, I know. But since the tabloids are so vicious regarding celebrities, I was hoping that our forum would not become another medium for juvenile malcontents.

Ady has apparently accepted the leading role in Yu Zheng's new drama, "Tian Di Bu Rong". The lead actor will be played by actor Feng Shaofeng (who also worked with her for "Yun Niang").

I wonder whether Ady's still starring in ZJZ's HSDS since HSDS is supposed to start filming in September and i doubt Ady will be able to finish filming this new series by then. Why do I have a feeling that I wont be seeing her play ZM?

Yup, sunnysnow. I have a feeling she won't be playing ZM anymore.

On the bright side, at least she's filming again.

I think its going to be a typical Yu Zheng series (think "The Last Princess", "Mei Gui Jianghu" etc.) set in the late Qing dynasty with plenty of drama. Probably a less weepy version of Qiong Yao's series. Ady's character is supposedly strong and determined one while Feng Shao Feng's character is a playboy.

Ohh... Ady in a serial like "Mei Gui Jiang Hu" could be cool! Amen for her character being bright and determined- I hope to see a great character for her!

hmm.. if that is so.. i don't think YTDLJ would work in her schedule.

Unless HSDS gets delayed for filming which could very well happen. Either that or Ady's new series finishes filming by September. Anyhow, it doesnt seem likely that she will play ZM now that ZJZ has commented that he finds her more suitable as Xiao Zhao.

eh, if that is the case, I rather she not do YTDLJ. XZ to me would have a more western look and I want Ady for ZM, so..

Xiao Zhao's not really outstanding or challenging enough for Ady imo. I heard they're going to film "Xian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan 3" and Hu Ge's cast as lead actor once again. Many of Ady's mainland fans are hoping she'll get to star opposite Hu Ge once again if she's not offered a lead role in HSDS. Though it seems quite unlikely as she's accepted the lead role in Yu Zheng's "Tian Di Bu Rong".
