have you seen zjz's current series in production (bing sheng/military sage)? the hairstyles and costumes for the female leads are awful.

i thought alyssa was adorable and very cute. she certainly came across as cartoonish and in some scenes, i thought her facial expressions wouldn't work for other actresses at all. however, alyssa definitely captured my attention quickly even though i've never really been a fan of zhao min (she always came across as much more vicious, selfish, less intelligent, and lesslikeable version of hr to me), but i learned to ike zm because of alyssa. could be the script which toned her extreme nature down.

i think ady will bring a different feel to zhao min, and i'm very glad she got this role since it is the lead female role in the series (generally speaking, although zzr is the lead female in the novel). congratus to ady. i hope they don't recast her at the last minute. i don't mind if they recast the male lead, but please, not ady.

I seriously hope Ady doesnt get a hairdo or costume as ugly and weird as what Shu Chang got in DOMD. Im keeping my fingers crossed that ZM's mongolian outfits will look nice because costume designers have the potential to stray wild when working on tribal outfits.

No offense to Alyssa fans but I found her ZM too childish and comical for my liking. She adopted a very typical Taiwanese-style approach when portraying ZM and I certainly hope that Ady doesnt follow her footsteps.

sunnysnow, i am hoping that will happen too. she was really cute in CP. hopefully instead of acting just cute and bubbly as zm, she'll also pull off the cunning side more convincingly (ala cheung man). i'll love to see that.

let's hope the costumes will be decent too.

Ady attended a wedding reception held by Hu Jing in Beijng yesterday. The two came to know each other while filming in Hengdian earlier this year. Ady was filming "Tian Di Bu Rong" and Hu Jing, "Bing Shen"; in addition, both are artists under the same company HY Brothers. Ady told reporters that she was on her way to Mt Wudang for the filming of HSDS and could only attend this reception because she had some time to spare while waiting for the transit flight in Beijing.
