I think her "look" is abit too plain and boring for a character who's supposedly a stunning beauty. She looks so much prettier in JTTW.

I have to agree, her costume and hair look like she's a maid rather than a beauty. I was expecting sheer, colorful and extravagance outfits and hair jewel.

[last I read] LoL That would actually be pretty funny to see since Yan Kuan's quite the looker himself...they should not have made Ady plainer than him...

i fear that they intentionally made her plainer so the female lead can stand out more...or maybe the make up artist wasn't used to ady's features. afterall, for jttw, i suspect that particular make up artist is already familiar with ady after hsds. hmm, i wouldn't mind seeing ady recycle her looks for jttw for water margin. it's so much more striking than what she was given in water margin.

It's Water Margin, so there isn't really one "female lead." The only female I ever remember from that story is Pan Jin Lian.

She's more of a supporting character along with all the other females in Water Margin.

Water Margin's, like, a sausage fest... Since there aren't many important female characters, might as well have hot ones like Ady and Gan Ting Ting, even as supporting characters.

Pan Jin Lian only occurs in one "side story" out of like...100 stories? She's kind of like the equivalent of Bai Gu Jing in Journy to the West. She's just famous, but not particularly important to the plot.

Ady is currently working on a new mainland film titled "Min Gan Shi Jian" (Sensitive Issue), a psychological thriller where Ady plays an internet star who agrees to her boss' suggestion to participate in a mock kidnapping episode so as to salvage her falling popularity. Never did she expect a mentally unstable fan to take the kidnapping for real, which results in horribly dangerous consequences.

I was searching around for HSDS to rewatch Ady's scenes , instead, I found the series where Ady was the lead, along with that other really cute guy from The Drive of Life, and Rain Li, and Michelle Yim, I think . SunnySnow had post a trailer clip for that series, so I went ahead and watch the last episode, Ady's character suicide! I didn't know why, just want to let you guys know, it seemed like a sad drama to begin with

Dont really like her Ady's character from the clips. Seems like a replica of previous characters which she has played in the past.

Oh wow, a trailer already!! That means it's gonna get released soon, hopefully. After watching the trailer, I still don't really understand how the storyline goes, but nonetheless, I'm still excited to have an Ady drama to look forward to!

i'm looking at ady's costume in water margin and her look has grown on me. it's not as striking as her look in jttw, but she has a subtle beauty in this costume that grows on you.
