Ady's currently working on 2 new mainland movies. She plays a supporting character in "If you are the one II", the sequel to the successful "If you are the one" (2008) starring Ge You & Shu Qi, produced & directed by Feng Xiao Gang. She apparently turned down a meaty role in the Taiwanese movie version of the popular "Black & White" (Pi Zi Ying Xiong) to star in this movie.

On a side note, she has recently been embroiled in a scandal with Barbie Hsu & her finance, mainland Chinese tycoon Wang Xiao Fei, both who are reportedly good friends with Ady. Ady was initially reported to be the person who introduced the couple to each other & match-made them. Reporters later say that Ady actually had a romantic relationship with Wang Xiao Fei only to have her beau snatched away by Barbie after the two met. Pictures of Ady crying in Wang Xiao Fei's arms & drinking with her pals have been posted online though Ady has denied all rumours, retorting angrily that she and Xiao Fei only share a brother-and-sister type of relationship and nothing more. She also explained the the pic of Xiao Fei hugging her while she was in tears was taken at her recent birthday party. She teared after being touched by the gestures of her friends during the party and Xiao Fei was comforting her.

Looking forward to Ady in Terracotta Warriors. Intriguing storyline. Hope they blend the timelines well. I have an 'inkling' the best portrayed will be the modern one. Ady/maid/lady of the court being carefree during the Qin Dynasty? There was a certain gravity to the movie version that seemed very appropriate and appealing in an almost noir kind of way. Ah well, they're my speculations...can't really say until we see the actual broadcast.

Ady as White Bone in JTTW looks wicked cool! I thought ZJZ & Co would make her look rather gaudy, but they have done a brilliant job.

So much to look forward too before I go back to Uni next year!

Ady will be collaborating with William Feng Shao Feng for the third time (after Yun Niang and Four Women Conflict) in a series called "Hou Gong" (后宫). Other cast include TVB's Tavia Yeung and also Patrick Tam.

I'm seeing a LOT of palace themed series being produced this year! I'm kind of hoping Ady will play a scheming beauty! That'll be different from the roles she normally plays, but I haven't read a lot about the storyline yet. Does anyone have more information on "Hou Gong"?

It is a remake of the same story...probably more fleshed out. The movie concentrated more on the Qin timeline I believe.

I actually felt that the series was more Qin oriented. It might be because the movie is so short, by the time you registered what the Qin story was about, they've already moved onto the 1930s. Whereas all the fleshed out version of the series makes you feel for the Qin characters more. Though, the series also decided to go off and decided to expand on the modern day lifetime.

There's not much write-up for that production but it looks like she'll be playing a kind/sweet character. Anyway, there's a bunch of pics of her in costume in the below link:

I personally find the look Ady has really ill-fitting. The costume is alright actually but the rabbit-like hairstyle makes her look rather weird and unflattering.

Thanks for the clip Creme de la top! Apaprently Ady was doing promotions for their new mainland movie "If you are one 2" in their homeland (Taiwan) with Shu Qi a week ago but she's currently back to work on the set of "Hou Gong" and she's uploaded some pics of herself in costume on her weibo:
