BTW, as much as i love Ady and as good as her acting is, I dunno whether i can bear sitting through 40 episodes of sheer crap and torture by WJ. I'll probably end up having nightmares of MRL stabbing me

I really must take my hat off to WJ for transforming a gentle and demure vase into an outrageous psycho.

Like i said, i'd rather he just do away with MRL thn to mess her up like that. I really wished Ady hadn't accept the role, no matter how hyped and high-profile the series is supposed to be.

Yes, the chinese title is Ai Qing Xin Hu Xi. Although she's paired up with Raymond, she's only a supporting actress in the series. The lead actress is Tammy Chen

Luckily she's the lead actress in the current series she's filming, called "Super Mates".

You are better than me. I would could not and would not endure such cruel punishment. I think I will end up with a muscle forever twitching in my face if I do sit through 40 episodes. Crappy hair and costumes aside, just thinking about how he messed up the story and characters... arghhhh!!! . Was it so difficult to stick to the storyline and portrayed the characters faithfully to the novel? He deviated so much that the story is almost unrecognizable. I wonder what goes on in his twisted little mind.

there's no thread on this series since there's nt enough info yet But its supposedly a high budget comedy directed/produced by a famous mainland director who directed several successful comedies. The lead characters are played by Ady and Hu Bing and other casts include Bao Jianfeng, Xiao Qiang, Huang Weide and Fu Miao (GSLE in ROCH'06). The crew is filming in S'pore right now and will move on to film in Qingdao in mid August.

Yeah.. finally finished watching "Single Dormitory"..one of Ady's first series where she still looked really fresh-faced and im so happy she ended up together with the lead actor, Li Wei..i was afraid that they'll do another Chinese Paladin on me

Dont think so...it's a very old series, i couldnt even find it anyway until recently in a rental store. BTW, anyone who has TVBS (taiwanese channel), they're replaying "Good Luck Angel"..another old Ady series she stars in opposite Lin Youwei. Just caught episode 12 today but found it pretty boring as compared to "Single Dormitory".

And the last i checked, the series was out of stock on yesasia and there was some mention that they probably wont bring in anymore stocks.
