I have a question, since I dont' know chinese so many some of you can help me out. I know that Ady An played Li Qian (something like taht), in Dai HAn Tian Zi 3. But, how is her character significant, I think someone said that Ady is lead in thsi series? So, what kind of role does she play? And, since I don't understand chinese, waht is the storyline in this series? Thanks in advance!

Ady is the lead actress in DHTZ3. She plays the late Huo Qubing's (One of the Emepror's best Generals who died in DHTZ2) daughter, Huo Qilian who later marries the crown prince and becomes Emperor Han Wu's daughter-in-law. Emperor Wu is played by Huang XiaoMing.

The story is basically about the Emperor's life, as well as that of his family and subjecs. If you haven't seen Part 1 or Part 2, like me, you might be alittle lost but they do have a little flashbacks and explanations so it was ok..i was still able to catch what was going on. Plus, I've watched a similar adaptation of Emperor Han Wudi's life by Chen Baoguo entitled "Han Wu Da Di" so being familiar with the story did help my understanding somewhat.

It does certainly sound like her..but erm..i hope its not the final edit to one of the songs on her album or smth. Her voice sounds weak and several notes are out of tune

Yes. Ady plays Chen Jieyu (Hero's wife) for 3/4 of the series before appearing as Hero's daughter in the last 5 episodes. The series was pretty sucky though..mainly because I was forced to watch a horrible portrayal of Hero by Peter Ho..and i couldnt even ff much since he is the leading/main character of the series and the whole plot revolves around him.

Ady's role is passive and bland as well...until the last 5 episodes where she appears as Hero's daughter, a manipulative and cunning character. She was brilliant in those episodes..

I personally think it is ok...I mean, from the beginning i wasn't expecting much because of what I heard from Outsiders. HEr voice is relatively weak tho.. especially when she hits the higher note near the end of the clip.

Yep she played Xiao Xue in "A Chinese Ghost story". She was also the lead actress in "The magic ring".

I glanced through Ady's words, which by the way is written in a very informal and hilarious style and she mentioned that she wanted to take a week's leave to celebrate her B'day with her gd friends (Xia Yu Qiao and Xiao An) who had especially came down from Taiwan to Beijing so she requested to the director who agreed because an actor who doesnt have any scenes with Ady could take the filming slot when she was on leave. However, before her wish could materialise, another actor who had scenes with Ady called up to urgently bring forward their filming schedule to the week Ady takes her leave. It was pretty funny how Ady described the ill-luck. she was like "Guess who the actor is??...He's...Bao-Jian-Feng!! OMG..My face cramped on the spot!..What the heck?!? "

But then the director who is very fond of her still allowed her to take a day's leave or smth for during filming to meet up with her friends.

Oh yeah, I heard she did something with her hands...poor girl. Hard life as an actress sometimes. Anyway, she's celebrating her birthday now? I thought it was a month ago. But nevertheless, hope Ady enjoys spending some time with her friends.
