It's not just that. Two-way contracts won't count against the cap if the player plays in the minor. It only counts against the cap for the amount of games he plays in the NHL. I don't like either the Santanla signning or the Chouinard signning. Some of the GMs out there just seem pretty dumb. Why would you give fringe players mutti=year contracts in a cap world. It could seriously come back and bite you in the arse. Hopefully, Almo's contract won't be off the books cause I want to see the Devils suffer for their moronic signnings.Originally Posted by superkaratemonkey

I'm kind of regretting now that we didn't do the same thing to Clarke last year with Gange when they were in cap hell. Stupid Clarke screwing our cap over. Did he promise one of the NW division teams to force the Nucks to cap hell or what??? I hope some GM (hopefully the Nucks) next season will do the same thing to him.
edit - I forgot to add: I also pick the Nucks to suck this season. Even though I'm a Nucks fan, I am also a realist. Our first 15 out of 20 games or something like that is on the road. This could pretty much kill the season for any team to start that many games on the road. Breaking even 500 for all those games would be a hard enough feat. Also, they've made too many changes and the lack of chemistry is really going to hurt. Btw, the so-called aren't really that much more of an expert than the average die hard hockey fan. I made my correct predtictions about the Stanley Cup playoffs and the regular season last year than all those Stanley Cup experts. Btw, I've been following hockey since 1989.
Oh lastly, my negativety towards the Nucks is suppose to have a reverse effect. The hockey gods like to do the opposite and since I'm predicting the Nucks to suck this season, the hockey gods will not allow it to happen.

and also Auldy's. However it's now the Pens fans turn to do this. He shall be a fan favorite soon and from what I've heard so far Pens fans are really pleased and happy with the best pest of the NHL
