you msn kiss? awww tell her we want her back!!

Well you guys need to start to score some more and more from the other lines. Maybe you guys can get rid of some of those guys who cost the cap and bring in someone who's worth it, someone who can put the puck in the net. Other than that your team is fine until some one gets injured and you have to pull someone up from the minors for a long period of time, then your team is handcuffed

Damn you KHABIBULIN, Getzlaf, Sleanne, and McDonald!!! I lost 7400 Vbucks at Vbookie cause of the Ducks losing to the Hawks.

Anyway, Naslund pots 2 goals. woohoo! Kesler actually scored. It was his 2nd and I don't even know he had a 1st.

gosh I can't believe this - I promised myself to quit here once and for all but I feel sooo bored with no hockey talk.. -.- and it felt so hard restraining myself from talking about the game here after every game. man you guys suck

soo.. the Canucks win the Blues today. 4-2 GRR DARNIT I wanted Nazzy to get the hatter BUT HE HAD TO HIT THE EMPTY NET POST! Other than that - Jason Bacashiua or whatever you spell his name had completely robbed him a couple of times after his 2 goals to stop him from getting his 11th (if I'm correct) career hattrick.

The Kesler goal was also very nice. This is what you are paid 1.9 mil for Ryan! To use your speed and score more. I'll give credit where it's due. He has been working hard night in and night out but finish just doesn't seem it's there for him. Not to mention there are a few times he's being constantly beat around the boards or creating chances for the opposition.

Although Nazzy couldn't buy the hattrick tonight I'm sure everyone would agree that blocked shot at the end of the game was very um.. I can't seem to find the right word to describe it. But nevertheless - good game - even though it was against a very tired Blues team one of the worst in the league. Two points just where we needed it. Hopefully we'll be able to redeem ourselves and carry that next game vs. the Blackhawks, take those 2 points and go on a hot streak like the Flames to get back on track to dominate the NorthWest and West Maybe I'm asking for too much, as for now I should just enjoy tonight's win and hope for a win vs. the Blackhawks on Monday.

I think Naslund so far has been the best captain than he ever was. For example, he has been more vocal, passionate, emotional and has been quite defensive on several ocassions. Not to mention he's also been constantly blocking shots, going down more to the defensive zone and protecting himself.
And you know he's truely getting into it when you see him pushing and shovin around with some other players - something that normally does not define Markus Naslund.

Don't be mistaken that I'm calling him out to be the greatest captain ever after a great game tonight but those are just my opinions, thoughts of Nazzy and his leadership of this season, which I think has been decent so far. Keep it up Markus!

I was about to submit this post when there's also one more player I feel should earn my praise and our appreciation. Alexandre Burrows. I've always liked this guy- he never failed to show passion for the game, character and of course hardwork. Not to mention a big heart. Hopefully he keeps it up. He also made a sweet pass to assist Kesler on his goal tonight. The guy still needs his first goal and apparently he could've gotten it already if it aint for the stupid ref in the Detroit game. I still remember his sweet hattrick last season as it makes me happy everytime I think about it.
If his scoring touch comes - I can imagine how good and impact player he would become. He's just one of these guys I hope would stick around, blossom and become part of our future and core. And I can also say the same for Edler, Coluombe, and Kesler just to name a few. Apparently the guy is also a ball hockey god and from what I've heard from many he's obviously crazy at it and he's also won trophies and titles. If I'm correct I remember John Garret saying the guy was a captain for his ball hockey team.

As for Green, damn that guy is a workhorse! Also one of the guys that implies spark and energy to our team like Burrows. Too bad he clearly has no finish despite creating tons of chances, opportunities and registering many shots. I remember tonight he had a great chance on a 3 on 1 but he decided to pass it to Mitchell when he could've just shot it to create a rebound and bury it in. He was trying to set Mitchell up for his first goal of the season when he doesn't even have his own and like John Garrett recalls "Far too generous".

That's all for now. Hopefully the BC Lions can take the Grey Cup on Sunday vs. the Montreal Allouettes! (boo Burrows is picking his hometown Alls to win!) ..and of course the Canucks winning. Go canucks!

cant believe nazzy didnt have a multi-goal game since last nov. for a player his calibre dats unacceptable. the other teams goalie, whom im not even gonna attempt to spell his name, was good. he robbed us numerous times, but then again seems like every goalie we play does dat.

i thot the whole team works hard in all but 2 games this yr. its not a matter of work ethic, we have dat in spades. i can honestly say dat every player on this team had so far worked their *** off and gave 110%, but in the nhl workin hard alone isnt gonna win u games. dats y guys like kesler/mo/nazzy are gettin so much heat, they get pay the big bucks, just working hard isnt gonna cut it. despite tonite, i'd still say they have a long way to go b4 i can say they've earned their paycheque.
also the game against chi isnt on mon, its on sun.

i thot nazzy tried really hard last yr to be better defensively too. he was backchekin like he never had, and i thot he was decent in dat dept. i attribute his horrible +/- from last yr to the lackluster play of bertuzzi. there r too many times nazzy skate back like a mad man, caught up to the play, only to have bert losing his man and the other team score.
and while i liked the leadership naslund is showing, i thot it was kinda dumb wif a 2 goal lead wif 6 secs left to go down and block a shot. sure it looks good but wat if u get hit on the ankle and is out for 6 wks? its not like the game was on the line or the shot have a good chance of going in. nazzy have to be smarter in dat situation i think.

burrows and green to me symbolize the problem wif the team. guys that r hard workin and physical, play a decent 2 way game but have absolutely no finish. we have too many of those guys on the team. its good to have a few on the bottom 6, but sooner or later the team'll need some goals from them and it seems like they r totally incapable of providing any. as much as i like them and enjoy their energy/effort, i hope we lose a couple of these guys (my choice would be chouinard and *cringe* linden) for some offensive players. hansen would be a good addition to our 3rd/4th line next yr imo.

im actually lookin 4ward to this game more than the nucks game on sun. should be a good game, im sure the allouettes will put up a better fight then they did in the regular season. still its bc's cup to lose imo. also im kinda glad we swept all the awards, i cant remember any team winning dat many awards in a season, in any league. this lions team definitly accomplished something special.
    GO LIONS GO!!

I did. This is actually the 2nd time I brought that username back. The first time was cause some my 1,000 posts were deleted. I'm doing it again for the same reasons. Once I'm up to 1,000, then I might even bring back ZhaoZilong44.

You know? I was at one point the 2nd richest person in Vbookie with 9,052 Vbucks. I wanted to be first and once I got to 10,000, I wouldn't bet huge amounts on any single game. However, stupid Getzlaf, Selanne, and McDonald couldn't score in the shootout and stupid Khabibulin stopped everything. If I knew Khabibulin was back for the game, I wouldn't bet on it.

You're stuck at 500 cause you don't bet on the games. It's so much fun to bet on them. I wish Spcnet had something simliar.

hey kiss is back, don't leave we need that comic relief from you.

i'm surprised bq brought back his old account too, but hey you're only 14 posts away from getting 1000.

does the nucks have any young guys who can actually score, maybe try sacking a couple players for draft picks and then pulling up some minors you guys really need those scorers, its sad to see underdog teams try their very best and then get shafted

i actually make lots of vbets, but everytime i get to 700+ i start gambling and bet heavily on the underdogs, so far none of them have paid off. in fact, i went big and bet all my vcash on philly tonite, since they r on a 2 game winning streak (and beating the best in the west) and still have a 2.65 to 1 odd. never the less they lost so im broke. any idea on how to get more vcash?

trizz, the nuck have drafted so badly dat they dont really have anybody to call up. hansen, grabner and simek are promising, but way too young. burke really didnt leave much for nonis to work wif. all we got is a bunch of keslers and burrows. very sad. btw, congratz on beatin the wings tonite. dat torres deke in the shootout was something to see, his head fakes were unbelievably funny, but it works.

You get 25 Vbucks back everytime you get to 0. However, you won't get the 25 Vbucks till the next day. Did you see that thread "Never Bet on Anaheim" from Canucks19? If he didn't post that, I wouldn't have lost my massive fortune. I was the 2nd richest person there and I blew 7400 on the Ducks that night. I should've bet it all on the Nucks over the Blues, but no I only bet 96 Vbucks on the Nucks that night.

I lost 900 Vbucks on the Sabres cause they lost to the Sens. Anyway, the best way to make back your money is from UEFA soccer games. The odds are really good even for the favourites.

i dont really follow soccer as much anymore, so i unno if i should bet there. but 25vbucks isnt alot to work wif...i mite just bet it all on the underdogs and hope i get lucky like 3x in a row. or mabbe i should just open another acct, just so i dont have to start from the bottom lol.

trizz, the gambling thing we r talkin about its on hfboards.com. in case u didnt know, its a hockey forum mainly. but they give u fake money call vcash, and every day u can use it to bet on hockey games. of course u dont win real money either, but its fun for pride and stuff.

    I love irony.

I was in class today and the prof was looking at a guy with a calgary jersey on and said theres no way calgary is winning tonight then all these calgarians in my class started booing the teacher. I never knew there were that many calgarians in edmonton, why do they need our education for? ne ways, we beat them, we didn't beat them good, but we beat them quite well, roloson out played kipprusoff end of story

haha, nice of your prof to piss off half the class
roloson played superb (from hilites) robbing flames all nite long, but its kinda alarming how many turn overs the oilers have in their own zone. u cant expect roli to be superhuman every game. i think the oiler need to get some better dman. signing staios to the extension is a good step, altho he'll be 38 and still cost u guys $2.4M.

Theres rumours that we're gonna pick up boynton, but yeah really not worth it.

I think MacT needs to work with the dmen a bit more. Its sorta funny how our first line sucked in the beginning of the season now the smyth-horcoff-pisani line is coming together well. hemsky-sykora-extra line has always been great. The third line really looks good on paper, but they're kind a struggling, hope they can pick it up, just looking at it gives me the shiver sometimes. lupul-stoll-torres. These guys are energy players, they can really put up the score and be gritty at the same time

boynton is perfect for your team. depending on the cost i say u should make dat trade.
nucks won a come from behind game against det today. i even called it b4 the 3rd. salo played awesome as always, and luongo held us in in the 3rd. we outshot them like 17-6 in the 3rd. mitchell laid out fransen was sweet, i hate fransen, tho it sux to see him lying there...still a huge (and somewat illegal ) hit. haha kesler and morrison, 2 guys dat used to play their college hockey in det, scored for us today. if only we can play det 82 times a yr...sigh

man, u guys onli had to hold on for another like 20secs and u would've won. dat sucks! sucks even more dat pronger got a pt too. did u guys boo pronger? i heard there were some hilarious signs at the game dat fans brought.

i went to the nucks game last nite. even tho it was 1-0 it wasnt boring at all. too bad the nazzy's goal happened about 300ft away from me tho, i sat at the opposite side of the rink. but i get to see some serious robbage by the goalies. its great to see the team workin so hard once again, but the lack of finish is really frustrating. it pretty much forces luongo to get a shutout if he wants a win. it cant be good for the team in the long run.
man the jumbo-tron is bright! there were times during the intermission when they turn off all lites and just leave the jumbo-tron on, and the whole GM place will still be lit brightly. so clear too.
also, i cant believe how expensive stuff are at Authentix (GM place's store that sell canucks stuff). i havent bought anything from there for a long time, and i bought 3 items last nite for x-mas present, and man the bill comes to like $200! just 2 shirt and a sweater, not even a freakin jersey!
