I want to go to GM place some day and check out that jumbo tron. Kiss still not back, even thought i dissed getzlaf. that guy is truly pissing me off now, he scored against us. To make matters worse, hemsky is out of the line up with a shoulder injury, I just hope we can get the job finished with colorado and columbus.

is it just me or without kiss here and bq dropping in and out this thread has quiet down a lot, i see that the competitive swimming thread seems to be gaining a lot of posts

the jumbotron is huge, but i wouldnt travel all dat distance just to see it if i were u. sooner or later every team in the nhl will get 1 i guess.
yea its been quiet in here lately. funny thing is i've encounter so many hockey fans in this forum, but they dont post here for some reason lol. and wif finals coming up i doubt it'll pick up anytime soon

Seems TV ratings for this year is really down. I heard as much as 20% for TSN and CBC. I think most of this can be attributed to Toronto not caring for the Leafs. C'mon....who cares if Tucker is in the scoring title race, We want some need fresh talent!

me and u go way back trizz, and we probably contributed 90% of all the post in the hockey forums lol. crap my tests tmw and im still posting here haha. its just a lil study break so its all good.
haha u guys got raped last nite, wth happen to roli?? but dang, we get the avs on sat, not looking good for us either since we cant score. our inability to score is gettin ridiculous, 2 goals or less in 18 of the last 20 games!? never in the nucks history had this kinda thing happened, not even when we were the nhl's doormat during the 70s and 80s.
btw i wanna congratz edler for his first nhl goal last nite. hes gonna be a good player. great stick and smart positioning, i can see him becoming a poor-man lidstrom in the future.

hey douggilmour, good to finally cu posting here! but explain to me y the leafs fans stop caring when their team this yr is finally competitive and entertaining? sure tucker leading in pts is alittle weird, but at least u wont fall asleep watchin a leaf game (unlike the nucks these days, its all zzzzzzzzzzz...., haha jkjk). besides, wellwood and stajan are pretty talented younglings, and steen should eventually develop into a top 6 forward. its probably the best time to be a leaf fan in 5 yrs.

i hate to admit it too, but the leafs are good this year and I can see them going a long way. Now i'm just wondering why ferguson wouldn't trade kaberla, steen and stajan for pronger during the summer? We would be a bit better than now I guess. But then our neutral zone and defensive zone coverage is really bad, if we can get in the offensive zone, 7 times out of 10 we light it up. Our defence are like letting roli do everything, that is not gonna work, its a team game, thats why we have hockey teams and not individuals.

Come on people. Let's vote for Rory!!! I would change my avatar to "Vote for Rory", but this stupid site is too picky with size.

Some guy put up a Youtube video of this with Cartmen from Southpark making that funny comment (episode - World of Warcraft). It's true. You guys could go outside and play all day or you could be stuck on your computer and make it matter by voting for Rory.... over and over again.

yea just imagine how good the oilers would be if they had kaberle. not dat smid is bad, but kaberle is extremely good.

haha no thx someguy, rory isnt worth my time. plus i really dont wanna see him at the all star game, it'll just make the all star game more of a mockery then its already is. besides, all those dudes at hf will make sure rory gets in. theres like 5 diff thread in the main board alone!

im ever so pissed. when the slumping horcorff gets a lucky goal like dat, u know the hockey god is punishing us. its just sad dat eveything edm throw at us somehow goes in (often off screen deflections) and when we do the same we hit roloson in the chest. and the 2 goals dat we scored were called back. we outshot u guys 2 to 1, and luongo didnt play bad, but somehow still lost. i think somebody cursed us or something, no team in the nhl had so many bounces against like the nucks, and its barely into dec! just sickening.

wow we beat carolina too. this is getting to be very entertaining, no hemsky, no smyth, no moreau and we're starting to play as a team, who would have thought of that!

And what happened to the stanley cup rematch, we just beat the defending cup champs, i think there goes the sorrow. Redemption!!

edm is doing pretty well dispite all the injuries. i only wish canucks can also put in dat kinda effort. i think edm and van have too much injuries this yr, time to pass some over to calgary, mabbe the hockey god can knock out kipper or iggy

LOL I love iggy even though I'm a nucks fan. I like the nucks this year. They play hard, but is it that hard to accept that we just aren't that good of a team this year. We expect way too much.

we play hard against good teams and the we play like st. louis against all the teams we're suppose to beat, this is stupid. Why can't the oilers pump out consistent games every night

yea iggy is a great player, he just play for the wrong team
edm just need to find some consistency, the nucks used to do dat too, pissed us off to no end. but eventually they'll figure out how to play good against the bottom feeders.

I think Iggy is a great player and he is playing on the right team. Lots of people say he can probably score more points and all in another team but will they have better chemistry. Remember he is a slow starter... and if he get traded or sign with another team, I think there will be high expectation for him to score every nite and it will wear him out. In Calgary he has that pressure but they love him so much even if he has a bad game, they will forgive him the next day.

Ducks are the best team in the league (follow very very closely by Sabres). Both are really hard working team with lots of team work and every line can take over a game.

Regardless of regular season stats... if you made it to the playoff... it is a whole new game

just like what we did last year, we were dead last in points of all 16 teams but made it to game 7 and put up hell of a good fight.

James is back, hows it going?
