linden mite goto the ducks, cuz burke is a huge fan of linden. plus its in the west but not a div rival of the nucks.

man wats w/ all these new logos and jerseys this yr? i like it the way it was, when i turn on the tv and see a game i know right away what teams r playing. call me a traditionist, but i like most of the team to keep their original logos and jerseys. except for the islanders, their original logo suck @$$.

apparently it has something to do with nhl and the new jerseys.... well its good they're not banning the third jerseys i think our team needs a new third jersey or use the old one, haha. islanders logo do suck. you know who else i think has an ugly logo, the canes, not cause they took the cup away from us, cause it just sux.

Linden is definetly not going back to the nuks, which kinda sux cause once you hear vancouver canucks most people think linden. he was there for both the times the nuks went to the finals right?

the caps' jersey looks really retro..... kinda ugly i never really did like the cap's retro jersey.

i thought peca would go to the rangers but he went to another blue shirt, the blue jackets to be exact, which is kinda good for the jackets but i still dont think they'll do well this year, they're too disorganized.

Eeesh, those lightning jerseys are hideous. I like the caps jersey. Retro is good. Logos and jerseys need to be simple. I hope the Habs don't change anything. Boston did a nice job but not changing much and actually going for the older look which looks great. What's with the logo being so big on these new RBK jerseys? So far im not too impressed. It seems like RBK has some kind of template for their jerseys and most teams go by it. Same in the CFL where almost every jersey has the same piping just different colours. I want the old jerseys back.

um...those lightning jersey does look hideous. i like their old 3rd jersey better, u know the one w/ lightning on the sleeve. many hates it but i like it for some strange reason. i dunno if the logo on the rbk jerseys r actually bigger, but i know the jersey itself is smaller. i saw the ottawa players posing w/ the jersey on, and it looks REALLY tight on them, makes them all look fat, even spezza!

and we continue to live up to that reputation. seriously, what the heck is dat!? first of all, the whale and the color dont match. dat color belongs to the stick-n-rink logo, and puttin the whale on it looks weird. 2nd is the word "vancouver" on the jersey. im never a fan of putting words on the front of a jersey, i think the logo is supposed to tell others who the team represent, so the word is redundunt (plus it looks sucky). finally, w/ all the options out there for logo (like the jonny canuck one for example) we shouldnt kept the whale.
if there is one good thing about it, is dat i think the whale looks better now.

the habs shouldnt change their logo or jersey, those r classics and they shouldnt mess w/ it.

well one good thing is that montreal jersey didn't change even though i dont really like that red shoulder patch compared to the really retro blue and red strip across the center.

but i do hate the flames jersey now look at the shoulder patch... GRRRR

all 30 teams coming out with the new rebook edge version of their jerseys so some teams are taking the chance to switch some colours around, add some stripes here and there and even change their logo like nuks, jackets, caps, sens, sharks...

so trainin camps about to start, any exciting prospect for the oilers? gagne is leading the super series in scoring, he looks to have a good long career. last chance for shremp or pouliot? once again the nucks have nothing outstanding, raymond and hensen are probably our most ready forward prospect, which is kinda sad. looking forward to c schnieder, edler and bourdon play in the ahl tho.
have u catch any of the super series? i duno if russias gonna win a single game. they have no scoring, horrible d, average goaltending, bad coaching and pathetic special teams. i really didnt think they'd be that bad. starting to regret buying tix to game 8....man i wish we traded up in the draft to pick turris, dat kid looks like the real deal (a young yzerman according to the play by play guy on tsn).

schremp and pouliot aren't in the rookie camp, but i have a feeling they're gonna crack the lineup with nilsson and possible jacque. i have a feeling stortini won't make the lineup cause now we got souray. and since we got all these 2nd tier defensemens i dont know what we're gonna do with gilbert and roy. for sure this year is gonna be good for the young forwards and maybe even a goalie -- dubnyk.

in the rookie camp its all about cogliano.

i guess lowe is gonna try to trade one of those extra d for a forward. unless some of the rookies really step it up in the preseason. how old is cogliano? wat kinda player is he and who does he compare to? i think gagne will make the team out of camp, he is dominating the superseries, probably the best player in the turny. he'll probably center one of the top 2 lines in edm this season.

nhl 08, its out in 2 days, but school just started, GRRRR no time, so many labs, i hate science.

cogliano, come to think of it, i don't think i've heard of any comparison but he's our biggest rookie sensation this year in the rookie camp. gagner wasn't in the camp cause of the super series but i think he bypassed the rookie camp and i have a hunch he will make it onto the team too. i dont see lowe giving up on any of our dmen for now, its too early, we've put too much into greene, smid is not going anywhere after we gave up on lupul, staios is a good leader, we just got pitkenan, souray and tarnstrom. the only one i see that we can give up on is gresbekov but we just got him through that bergeron trade. just about all these dmen aren't really top 2 material except for souray.... this is gonna suck.

how is the nuks rookie camp? have they started using the new jersey yet!!

yay 08 is coming out soon! dont have ps3 or xbox360 tho. but i'll settle for ps2. hopefully the rating is more realistic this yr. i hate how some unknown european is rated as high as crosby last yr.
nucks rookie camp went ok. raymond really stands out, in fact vino and nonis, as well as all the nucks reporters, r gushing over him. hes super fast and skilled, mabbe our version of coligano. hopefully he'll make the team cuz we can use his speed and scoring. edler and bourdon had an up and down camp, while hansen, schnider and simak impressed as well. grabner really blew tho, which is disappointing. but its better if he spends a yr in the farm to learn the team game. overall our prospect depth seems to be improving, but definitely no calder winner in the near future.
just browsing over LA's roster, they will have a great future. kopitar, camallerri, brown, johnson, frolov are all young and skilled, and they also have quality prospects coming out of their ying-yang (bernier, hickey, tukanen, boyle). if only we can draft like dat, combine w/ nonis's ability to trade, we'd have a dynasty!

i'm trying to cough*pirate*cough pc version of nhl 08 right now, but i dont think i can find a good *sneeze*crack+keygen*sneeze* for it. guess i'll have to wait, tell me about it when you get it for PS2!!! i just heard AHL's will be in it so you can pull yoru rookies and put them onto your main team and dump garbage onto the farm team, HAHA

man i wish i could get it by tmr and find a way to crack it, haha 40 bucks to play it only for like 4 months on my laptop during offhour from school work is not worth it.

blah i got it today for ps2, and wat a rip off! its essentially nhl 07 (which is essentially nhl 06 and 05) w/ new roster and ratings. and the ratings r all screwy too. mitchell and bieksa r 80, while vishnevski is 82. figure dat out. game play is the same, doesnt seem dat much smoother or anythin. and scoring is the same, centering passes and one timer, or wrap around (less likely to score w/ dat now). still, its only $33 after tax, so its not too bad, im sure i'll play at least 15 hrs, so it'll be worth it.
