I can't comment on her movie coz I haven't seen her movie yet (I'm not located in S. Korea). So I'm waiting for the DVD to be released.

Kim Tae Hee 'The Restless' stage greetings, there was no holiday

Top STAR KIM TAE HEE carried out stage greetings for her movie 'The Restless' (director JO DONG OH and production of NABI PICTURES) from the end of the year to new year's day. Although the performance of 'The Restless' is lower than anticipated, Kim Tae Hee had extended the stage greetings with senior Jung Woo Sung. The two came to Taegu and Pusan on the 30th and the 31st of last month for their theater stage greetings. And they proceeded to Gwangju in the morning of new year to meet the fans. Kim Tae Hee went around at least 6 theaters every day following her hectic schedule but she never lost her characteristic bright smiles and received cheers from the fans. On the other hand, Kim TAE HEE is different from young actors these days who are ill-disposed toward public relations. Before the release of her movie, she had participated in various events with 40 or more media independent interviews and had received praises from the parties concerned.

Kim Tae Hee, off to Spain to shoot a pictorial

Top STAR KIM TAE HEE (26) appears to be going for her first overseas trip in the new year.

Kim TAE HEE will be flying off to Spain from the 13th till the 18th for a pictorial photoshoot and a rest. A staff from Kim Tae Hee's management company clarified on the tenth, "Kim TAE HEE will leave for Spain to do a pictorial photoshoot for AMORE Pacific's 'HERA' which she was selected as the model last year. It is an overseas trip which will concurrently serve as a rest for her as she had spent the end of last year and the beginning of the year by doing public relations for movie 'The Restless'."

Henceforth this will be the second time for her in Spain after a LG CYON CF in 2005. However, it has a special meaning this time. After her return to the cosmetics brand she first worked for when she debuted as a model, this is the first overseas photoshoot for her since she received the modelling fees. Her mind and body tired from 'The Restless' publicity work, she will use the photoshoot as an opportunity for her to re-charge herself this time. Since the end of November last year till the beginning of the year, she did interviews and went around doing stage greetings for 'The Restless' before and after the opening of the movie without missing out a day. A production cost of 10 billion won was supplied to 'The Restless' although as a matter of fact, it failed to perform, leaving it with 1,500,000 viewers by which it cannot reach the break-even point. It is said that she does not place any regrets as she had ardently concentrated on the filming and public relations.

At that time, for the Cyon CF, Kim Tae Hee did line dance while putting on a red dress. This time, she is due to debut a high-level makeup and her beautiful charm will be emanated in the photoshoot for the 'HERA' pictorial.

During my trip, i get quite lucky and 'spotted' her on the streets and on tv... i even saw a tae hee look-alike korean air stewardess, but just the eyes are similar and no doubt Tae Hee is still the best looking :P

On 22 Dec, with a xmas present i prepared for Tae Hee, I started with my hunting assignment of Namoo Agency. Spent a bit of time searching for it, asked the locals but no one knows the exact location... I think it's the Tae Hee force, somehow I took a left turn into a narrow lane and found that building :w00t: !!! saw the Namoo signboard at the lobby and I went up to the office. It's a small office with alot of posters on the wall... I approached a lady who sat the nearest to the door and luckily she can speak English. She said that Tae Hee seldom comes to office but she can pass the presents to her. I asked if I should pass the present to Tae Hee personally, since I am going for the stage greetings at Cine City later (it's just located at opposite side of the road of her agency). She said she is able to pass on my behalf so I left the present with her. I attended the stage greeting at Cine City, seating in the theatre nervously while waiting for their appearance. Soon, the cast and director came in and presented their greetings. I dashed out to the front so I can get a closer look of them. Needless to say, our angel always look so angelic :wub: Though I didnt manage to get near her and talk to her, it's still a nice feeling to see Tae Hee again She is wearing a black pant suit, with her hair down. My eyes are set on Tae Hee and frankly I am not very certain who are the others who turn up for the stage greetings. The lightings in this theatre is poor, I can't take proper pictures. Took a video using my digicam but still cant see clearly, I will upload later. It's a short appearance, the movie starts after the cast left.

I watched the movie without understanding, but did enjoy the computer graphics, they are brilliantly done. There are alot of close up takes on Tae Hee, so I am enjoying the movie even though i can't understand. I don't understand why others criticise on Tae Hee's acting? If they watched her past dramas, it's obvious that she had improved tremendously. It's her debut movie, hope they won't be so harsh on her. What matters is that she put in her best and she did improved.

The next day, I bought the tickets the movie at Seoul Cinema 4.10pm. I reached there early and went for a drink at the cafe in the cinema building. Suddenly I heard screaming from the outside, so dashed out and overheard that JWS had already went up by the side stairs. I went back to the cafe, and kept thinking that Tae Hee should have arrived with him since they had a stage greetings at Myeong Dong before this. So I went out of the building and saw a van parked right in front with people crowding around it. Tae Hee must be in the van :w00t: !!!! I stood around, and soon, Tae Hee came out from the van. I saw our angel again... lead by bodyguards, she walked past the crowd and head to the side stairs. I am thinking to myself that I must at least let her know my presence. So I followed behind and grabbed her by her arm when I am close enough. She turned to look at me and I told her that I am from Singapore. She gave me that killer smile and said thanks for coming. And the bodyguards with her assistants, went up the stairs. So I just stood there looking at her going up to the 2nd floor. While she is talking the stairs, she turned to talked to her assistant. And this guy came to me and mentioned my name and asked if I am from Singapore. I went blank for a sec, said yes and followed him to the backstage. I entered a room and Tae Hee greeted me with a warm smile. She took my hand immediately and said thanks for coming. We chatted quite abit. She said she received my present and read my letter. She said she can still remember me when I asked her, cos she remembered my name card with her pic on it (but she used the term 'business card') which I gave to her last year and I included in my letter this time too. She asked when I am flying back home. And asked how is the movie. I told her that I don't understand at all (what i meant is that not the movie is difficult but i really can't understand conversation). She said that it's a difficult movie actually, even koreans will find it difficult to understand. Compared to the last time i talked to her, her english had improved alot. So I can't help but to ask her if she is taking up english lessons (just to reconfirm) and she said yes. And Tae Hee said I looked better than last time *blush* (I am happy to hear it, not because of the look better part, it's because she can remember me in order to compare.) During the whole conversation, she is holding my hand and i am actually pretty distracted by that *blush* I can feel the warmth though her hands even in the cold winter. I asked to take a picture with her, how can I miss the chance right? Her assistant brought in a 'The Restless' poster, she took over the poster, placed it on a chair, squatted down and signed the poster. She wrote my name without asking, I was so delighted that she remembered my name too :P She handed me the poster, said thanks and she had go. So I left the room on cloud nine, having this silly grin on my face. I saw Tae Hee again later in the theatre.

After having to meet up with her again, I have to say that my love for her had reached the peak. She is just too wonderful and genuine, such a kind and nice angel. What else can I ask for? She is indeed one who really deserves our utmost support. No regrets. I will support her as long as I can. I am very contented and happy now. Tae Hee Forever ~~~

It seems that Kim TAE HEE will not appear on the masterpiece drama <Angel> (Scenario: CHOI WAN KYU & 주찬옥 / Director: Lee Hyeon Jik / Production: CHOROKBAEM MEDIA) to be broadcast by SBS.

An assigned official from Kim TAE HEE's management company clarified in a telephone call on the afternoon of the 24th, "The existing report of her having been casted for 'Angel' differs from the fact. She is not casted. There was also no official announcements from us."

The official added, "Although <Angel> may be one of the works to be examined for her next work, even the examination has not been carried out now."

The scenario work and the casting work for <Angel> are being worked out with the drama drawing the story of lobbyists who surround international arms dealings now.

Kim Tae Hee has not acted in dramas after the SBS mini-series <Love Story in Harvard> ended in January 2005.
