Yah, LDH looks cuter. Just feel like S.Q.U.E.E.Z.I.N.G her cutesy cheeks together with my palms. With a pistol in her hand and extra tights, she resembles a sexy spy. Actually, I would really like to see her collaborating with Hyun Bin for a romantic comedy series. That should be ultra fun to watch.

Is this a new drama with LDH?? Last drama I watched with LDH she was a guest star and played a spoiler part. It was the Jdrama "Little Bride". Anyone seen this??
She really looked sophisticated in this drama and I liked the look.

Little Bride (aka Sweet 18 or 18-year-old Bride) was shown in 2004. Although Han Ji Hye had a juicier part and Lee Da Hye played the spoiler, but LDH caught my attention as more composed in her supporting role. In addition, I thought LDH looked much prettier. I didn't realize that LDH was just 20 years young. Ha! Then came the clincher for LDH - the newer, funny and impressive series My Girl! (Actually, it not too new anymore. it's a 2005 series!)

And....... dogwood457, just wait until you watch My Girl (if you haven't). Quite a few of us were smitten by her beauty, feistiness and energy, 180 degrees from the type of role in Sweet 18. Really sweet, too.

Have I watched My Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only about 10 times. I keep this drama near me at all times. I also like the movies Be with You, and Windstruck. Watch these in between dramas. Just finished Jumong and Golden Bride and am currently watching Summer Scent.

Watching My Girl 10 times already!! Ha! You must be an expert by now and can even watch backwards! I love the series, too. I just finished watching My Girl for the 3rd time. LDH really has these adorable and ever-changing facial expressions. In this romantic comedy, I would like to list some scenes I treasured.

1. Joo Yoo Rin (Lee Da Hae) was selling tangerines on the roadside. Seol Gong Chan (Lee Don Wook) drove by and crushed the tangerines. Yoo Rin ran after him and was about to scream at him. She stopped way short, because she knew Gong Chan was the owner of the orchard. Then, later she had the nerve to steal from the orchard one last time before she quitted. Of course, she was caught by Gong Chan.

2. Short after Yoo Rin moved into Gong Chan's house, she played with the bubble bath and went wild. Then, she slipped on the bathroom floor and her body towel fell off. Gong Chan heard the noise and opened the bathroom door. He saw Yoo Rin lying on the floor naked. (I didn't see anything!)

3. The scene where Yoo Rin sprayed rice all over Seo Jung Woo (Lee Joon Ki).

4. Yoo Rin played dead on the street. Gong Chan knew she was pretending and tried to leave her there. However, bystanders accused Gong Chan of being a cruel abuser. Yoo Rin had a "wicked" smile.

5. At the bathhouse, Yoo Rin played a joke on Jung Woo by calling him "big sister" out loud. Because he had long hair and appeared cute, that caused murmurring from women patrons. Men customers stared at Jung Woo weird. Jung Woo felt uneasy. (Men customers wore blue shorts and women wore pink shorts.)

6. Yoo Rin sang this jingle to amuse Gong Chan. It was so funny.

7. Anyone else can share some special scenes.

The new series is called "East of Eden" (50 episodes). It's being shown on TV in South Korea and generally rated within top 5 after 6 episodes.

The cast is consisted of Song Seung Hun, Lee Da Hae, Yun Jung Hoon, Lee Yeon Hee, Park Hae Jin, Han Ji Hye, Dennis Oh. It seems that Lee Da Hae is the leading actress this time and Han Ji Hye is in the supporting role. In 2004, the roles were reversed in the TV series "Sweet 18" (aka "Little Bride"). In "Sweet 18" Lee Da Hae played the role of a young lawyer. In 2004, they were both just 20 years old!

At the beginning she was supposed to be the main lead. But in the midst of chaos with production and rumors that SSH didn't want his character to fall in love with another girl because it seems unfaithful; so he requested the writers to change the script. Plus Da hae's character only gets like 10 minute screen time on each episode. As the series goes on the stories seems to be so messed up. I think she was so fed up at how her character keep tossing around from guy to guy and none of them likes her.At the middle of the series she decided to quit, citing that it was due to exhaustion. But it cause the fans to bash at her saying that it's her princess attitude. Since then she has been low key.

But she's back in a new series "chuno" or pusueing servants>>they are currently shooting. It's with Oh ji ho and jang huk. Which will be air this year hopefully.

I think she left around 38 episode citing that she's leaving to the states. None of the guys love her. SSH's character only loves Lee Yeon Hee.

Her character was rather unuseful and no importance to the plot. One of the reasons for her leaving and actors bickering backstage. Her character was supposed to be one of the msot important but they switch writers and as time goes on her role is rather a joke. There were some other disputes with MBC. But what i dont understand, why couldn't she talk it out with them. Leaving like that just gives her a bad name.
