I love ancient drama! So muh cooler with the kung fu and the clothes! I tried watching a kung fu series in modern times with the characters flying and everything.....no...just does not work that way.

i like both but i think i like modern more because all of the series i like r korean(and most of them r modern)but i still like ancient(only cuz of that chinese series dont know what its called but Jang nara and Alec Su(i guess thats his name) was in it)

i love ancient/historical series! it all started with amazing twins and now im addicted to jewel in the palace
there's something about the ancient dramas that makes me watch it more, i even think that i dont appreciate more modern dramas nowadays

lol i dunno why but i personally like modern series more cuz i'm not really into the ancient fighting kinda series so i definately like modern more but there are some ancient series that are very good eg Huan Zhu Ge Ge and stuff like that

I voted for ancient as my fave just because I like the costumes that they wear, the story line, and I just need a little break from the real modern world I live now.

i think that it's becuz most of the modern series have the same storyline and ancient has sort of different twists to it that is why i like ancient better too

i think both modern and ancient can be cliche... but i tend to enjoy the ancient cliches more
modern is usually... OMG I LOVE YOU while ancient is more like... OMG I AM THE MAIN CHARACTER WITH A TRAGIC LIFE

seriously okay there are parties but not over the summer everyone goes to the beaches and stuff and i go to but on the weekdays either summer school for credits or on my comp for here or watching ancient series cuz i luv them so much they're so cool! Originally Posted by x0_jenniee
