    Smile Modern or Ancient Series?

    which one do u enjoy watchng more? for me..it's def. ancient! don't kno why..but as little as i can remembr until now..i've alwys choose ancient series to watch..although i like modern series..[which by the way i've probably watchd only abt 3 modern series in my life& finishd it]..i find it to be boring at times which makes me js stop the tape. where else for ancient, no mattr how boring it is..i can still manage nd continue watchng..lol. nd tha thing with ancient is i loveee how they use kung-fu, learn abt all the diff. strong swords[such as HSDS], or js see how nice the ladii's costumes are..ahah very interesting in my opinion :] so..how abt u?

    I like watching ancient dramas more too, doesn't matter whether they are wuxia adaptations or original stories. It feels like getting away from the real world into a world of fantasy and fighting. Modern dramas are great as well, but if I have to choose during the same time slot whether to watch a modern or ancient drama, I definitely will choose the latter.

    i like both realy but ancient series usualy hab a better plot nd better on the dramatic side but they can get a lil boring so i picked modern i find that modern series are more interestin to watch

    Ancient and modern series are both good but I've always liked ancient series more. Its more of a fantasy world and I'm still in love with that. I also prefer ancient series 'cos I like the fighting scenes, beautiful scenaries and ancient costumes. And I find it more interesting since they give me a different feeling to modern series.

    Another vote for Ancient! I lik watching the ancient series usually because of the customes. LoL For Modern series the guys might look better, but u don't see cool stuff lik kung fu. All the flying and sword fighting is soo awesome! Those ancient series usually get u on the edge of the seat.
    As for the actresses I think the customes for ancient series make them look soo pretty. Especially when they do kung fu it's just sooo awesome. In ancient series I think the actor/actresses put more effort in too.

    I like both too!!!but I have preference for ancient!!! I love how all the chinese actors/actress (especially the actress... ) are equipped!!!! !!!Love a lot their clothes (like in HSDS......)

    i love the ancient series. i watch TOO much. my mom says in my past life i was probably living in ancient china. but i watched some MODERN ones, with police and stuff. i think it was pretty old MODERN one. POLICE CADET? or something? it was okay.
    Always in search of great historical/costume dramas.

    i like both. esp for hong kong and korea series. both kind of drama attracted me!!!

    hands down to korea ancient series jewel in the palace.
    i really like hong kong and korea actors/actresses <3

    i haven`t seen a korean movie yyet; most of the movies i have are dubbed in vietnamese anyways, i`m watching a GOOD taiwanese movie right now. BODY GUARDS? does anyone have the actors names?

    i don't even have to think about that one i really like ancient series they're really cool. i like to watch the ancient movies especially the ones that have martial arts that are real and stuff with the swords which makes them look interesting only Hong Kong tvb though have good martial artists and that is why i like and voted for ANCIENT series
