Default For Fans Of Andy Lau - Good 80's-90's Reissues

Some interesting Andy Lau titles previously unissued

The Truth Series - compiles both parts 1 and 2 of this genre defining courtroom drama with great performances by Deanie Yip

    The Truth Series

Everlasting Love - man, Irene Wan was really hot in this movie as a call girl trying to escape her lurid past to move on with rich boyfriend Andy Lau. A young Loletta Li plays her sister. Ng Mang Tat is his sleaziest role as a corrupt blackmailing cop who gets to dip his beak in the honeypot - some really hot scenes here if intact. I think Irene Wan went on to become some rich guy's mistress in real life after this.

    Everlasting Love

Long Arm of The Law III - Andy Lau again as an ex-military con escaping for another life.

Long Arm of The Law III

I guess it was a sign of the times pre-handover HK characters looking to escape their past for a new future.

Great that they are available on DVD at last!

I think that was release a while ago... if I remember correctly isn't that a modern version of the Condor Heroes story?

I thought the best pairing for Andy was Gigi Leung... not Sammi... Anyone agree or disagree with me?

And I found his earlier TV, Music kind of sucky and gradually improve but his movies are pretty good all his career.

I loved him as the king in Duke of Mount Deer, the chemistry between Andy and Tony was so special. They were my favorite couple in the series, and they weren't even a couple. Although I would say Tony's character loved Andy's above all his wives, while Tony was the only person Andy could share his burden with (that of being king).

So I venture to say, his best paired with Tony. I loved them in Infernal Affairs I, they feed off each other's desperation quite well.

Actually, the best pairing for Andy was Wu Chien Lien - A Moment Of Romance 1 and 3 - 2 was with Aaron I think.

Gigi was good with Andy in Full Throttle but don't think they have been in anything else together.

Andy and Sammi look good together and have chemistry.

Saviour of the Soul I & II are quite old movies.. They were released in years 1991 and 1992. It has the name 91 & 92 San Tiu but.. I don't think its the modern version..

I thought the only version worth watching is the 91 one.. 92's version was really crappy....

...and I think Andy's best pairing is with Charlie Yeung .. I don't know if they've acted together before.. but I already think they look good together He's just recently finished 2 MVs with her.

Actually, Saviour Of The Soul is based on a comic book. The name is the same as the Return Of The Condor Heroes but with a year 91 after it or something. It is good eye candy. Not really a modern version but similar in that the lovers are apart.
