Default What's your favorite wuxia song?

One of the best part of watching wuxia films is the songs that go along with it. I love them. I know there are many, but which one is your favorite? I wish I could translate the songs cuz most of them seem very poetic.

So list your favorite wuxia song, and if you can translate it, please do.

My favorite is one of the sub song for ROCH 83, I don't know the title but it starts something like "ching yerk jun..." That song really move me. Wish I know the lyrics to this song in english.

I like the Tony Leung and Anita Mui theme song for the HSDS 83. I believe it was Anita, I'm not sure.

The opening theme for LOCH03 is my favourite wuxia theme, "Tian1 DI4 Dou1 Zai4 Wo3 Xin1 Zhong1" or "Heaven and Earth is in my Heart". Here is my rough translation:

"Dominating for a thousand autumns, victorious in every battle
A wind carries its song in the borders
A horse gallops swiftly forward, an arrow draws towards a condor
Heaven and earth is in my heart.
The violent sand road stretches for a thousand miles, the moon is hazy amidst the mountain passes
The lonely martial expert disappears without a trace.
With whom do I share true love? Do we follow each other in life and death?
Something major comes my way and I surge forward,
    with a magnanimous heart.
A horse gallops swiftly forward, an arrow draws towards a condor
Heaven and earth is in my heart."

Also I thought XAJH had a couple of meaningful songs, but I don't have the lyrics with me now. Faye Wong's ending theme for TLBB was very nice and very fitting for the story too..

The two main themes from the 1970s LUK SIU FUNG TVB series, both recorded by Adam Cheng. Those songs positively *reek* with wuxia spirit.

No, this is LUK SIU FUNG. Same author (Gu Long), same era of wuxia series (1970s) by the same company (TVB), but not the same story.

Anyone watched The Kung Fu master staring Donnie Yen? The main song rulez!! Here is the lyrics I got from the DVD.

"The sky may be gloomy, the road may be long
And the wind may chill my heart
But I'm willing to take on the duty
and make my name known in all regions
I do not fear the many obstacles
They will only make me even stronger
Don't think about how high the road is
    And bravely face the challenges
Fulfill your dream amid the tears and the blood
    Strengthen yourself and be strong
Fulfill your dream amid chaos and death
So that a nation can be rebuilt with blood

A hero shows no fears to the barriers
His courage can be felt throughout the world
Don't think about how high the road is..."

This is my favorite workout song.

Would anyone be so kind as to convert some of these to Mp3 and post them on www.yousendit.com so that noobs like me can listen?
I wish people would back their assertions about facts with facts.

Just because something is your opinion, doesnt necessarily make it true.

I'm not sure what's wrong, but I encoded it with iTunes, maybe that's why. Thanks for uploading the songs from TLBB!

the title theme song from the Taiwanese production of HSDS. the one with Cecilia Yip, Steve Ma and Kathy Chow. the title of the song escaped me for the moment, but it's a damn fine song.
It means you got eyes like apostrophes, you dress white, talk black, and drive Jew. So how am I supposed to know what kind of zipperhead dog-munching dink you are if you don't?

    My favorite wuxia songs are:

Legend of the Condor Heroes 84 Main Theme
Return of the Condor Heroes 96 Main Theme
    Heroes From Shaolin

Shang Shang Qian - Emil Chow (What series is this from?)
    http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page...m?bandID=26423

I've a request. I don't know the name of this wuxia song but there's a part where both the male and female sings together, "If my heart is asking wrong then who in the world is the strongest?"

Indeed the theme song was quite ace, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the lyrics was actually sung by Luk Siu Fung himself in the novel.

That series does have some really good instrumental piece as I recall and is probably my favourite JY's adoptation.

It is really hard for me to choose a favourite wuxia song since many of them are SO GOOD. I'll go with the theme song of The New Adventure Of Chor Lau Heung since it was the song that stuck with me since childhood.
