yes, that's how he got his english name raymond, sounds similar to his original name

I will watch non-TVB series if he is in it.Its just that it seems that it takes longer for Mainland series then for TVB series to be at the place where i get my series from.thats all

well...its still a "might". i just couldnt imagine Ray in those long draggy mainland series like benny chan. but if he really is leaving, then i hope he n sammul can be casted together in a mainland series....u know...at least put some familiar faces alongside him.

haha! raymond sounds somewhat different than onscreen but no too much different

Usually, if the main chars are from HK, i.e., they don't speak mandarin, then the VCD will have double tracks (mandarin and cantonese). But since Ray speaks mandarin, not sure if there will be double track.

I find that even actors/actresses that speak mandarin--they still dub...I have watched several mainland movies and none of them appeal to me..mainly because of the dubbing..it makes things sound fake.


i feel part of acting is not only physcial but verbal plays a big part and the dubbing takes away. i wouldn't mind trying raymond in mainland (although the storylines uuggg) but if it's in mandarin dubbed--that's awful.
