Uhm, at first, he was specially invited to film HOG with the leading role, the 1st lead in DOL was to be Joe's. However, as CCTV chose him for the first lead, he had to turned down HOG. But the HOG producer still want him in the series so he agreed to be a guest star.

There was a time that the producer of HOG and DOL actually had an arguement on him:
- One wanted him till the end of Oct for HOG, said that the missing of him would lead to the bad turned out of the series;
- The other wanted him at the beginning of Oct to start the first scene as it is the grand series.

The decision only made after the high manager of TVB said that HOG should let him go coz DOL is more important so HOG had to rushed filming. Maybe that's the reason why he couldn't sleep 4 48h. However, afterwards DOL was delayed coz some reasons. Ray was free for a while thus HOG producer enlarged his role to be come the third lead. U guys can see in the theme video, though he is said to be not as important as Bosco and Moses, the scenes involved him still lots.

At first, Ray was tobe Tavia's husband in the series, he's the second son of the Tong family, Moses n Bos's brother. Tavia loved him til death at first and pursue him. She loved his money, too. But then she turned to Bosco as Ray didn't love her.
