read in the papers today that raymond's first shooting scene in hard to be a woman is a scene where he and melissa are walking in the streets when they met melissa's ex with a girl (the hu ling qing). and in order to 'help' melissa, raymond pretended to be dating her by holding her hands or something like that. unfortunately, they were seen by melissa's dad, played by leung ka yan. he thought raymond's taking advantage of melissa so he punched raymond hehe raymond later on commented that he's quite unlucky because in his very first working day (scene) he was punched but he added that luckily it's brother ka yan (he called him that) who did that scene because the former has a lot of experience and knows how to control his strength

Wow, I haven't been in this thread for a while. I still like Raymond a lot, haha...I really want to see Yummy Yummy! I've finally gotten to watching 'Twin of Brothers' and I thought he was great in there. He was great, singing the theme song too.

After watching Eternal Happiness I thought I had escaped the Raymond Lam bandwagon because I thought Raymond's role in EH was very boring and silly.

Then recently I got a chance to see alot of Raymond series and now I'm starting to like him! Damn! I thought had escape but I guess I can't resist his charms no longer. I liked him best in A Step into the Past-his chemistry with Louis as teacher and student is great and so cute! I also liked him in Golden Faith and Twin of Brothers.

How is Yummy Yummy and Last Breakthrough? Does he have a CD album out? I like his hair in ancient series than modern because I really don't like his bangs falling all over his face or comb somewhat weirdly...just blah.

His best attributes are his eyes and that smile of his. I think he has dimples right? I don't remember....hahaha....all I know is I'm one of his fans now..hehehehhe

His acting is good...not great but still better than Ron Ng and other newbies out there.

How is Survivor Law? Is that a good series?

I can't believe he's only 4 years older than me!!!!!! According to Chinese zodiac, our signs are compatible! I only need to go to HK and somehow bump into him...who knows what would happen..hahahha... JK! Anyway...I thought he was much older but geez only 4 years older than me...wow thats so cool. I've never liked a actor who was so close in my age range. That's pretty neat!

the last breakthrough is not bad too! i like him there also esp when he's in doctor's suit and leila and he make a very cute couple watch that too! i don't become a fan of his until recently too. i watched almost all his series until i finally realized that i can't resist him charms either
i agree i don't like his bangs either when i saw him again in lofty waters, i thought he looks like an 'ape' because of his bangs haha well i guess it's understandable though coz he lived in a cave in an isolated island for ages haha, raymond fans don't attack me for that 'ape' comment!

Yuuup......agree with cherrie~~~ u definately have to watch Survivors Law....(im currently rewatching it, I dont think i'll ever get bored of this series) its a must-watch-raymond-lam series hehe.... he's brainy... smart, adorable, lovable, perfect and sooOoo cute..... but still realistic to watch
And as for The Last breakthrough.... you also need to watch... he's more cuter in SL, but still VERY cute n adorable here too and yup he and Leila makes a cute couple
If you have watched his villian roles and still love him.... you will definately love him even more in these series.....
I'm waiting to watch Yummy Yummy now.... hopefully its a good series... been waiting for ages!

Yesterday, Raymond Lam, Melissa Ng, Sheren Tang and Michael Tse were filming for "It's Hard To Be A Woman", the scene talked about Sheren teaching Melissa to wear something sexy to try and seduce Raymond, yet she brought up the jealousy of her ex-husband, Michael. Right when Raymond saw Melissa wearing a low cut top, he didn't dare to look straight at her, appearing to be very embarassed, he said, "I used to go to an all boys school, so I get embarassed very easily, when I see girls wearing something sexy, I don't dare to look at them without thinking." He exprssed in order to portray his character of a gym trainer, he's been working out and only weighs 160 lbs right now.

As for Melissa, who doesn't usually dress up in sexy clothing, she feels that men in reality shouldn't be so shallow, she said, "I don't think a man would want to see the woman he loves dressed up like this, I don't even have any sexy nightgowns at home."

I find it extremely cute and amusing that he got embarressed so easily, how adorable!! I really wouldn't have guessed so. Anyways Raymond looks very very nice in that picture with Melissa!!! Very handsome in the white shirt. As for him with Melissa...its evident in the pic that she does look older than him and I think they look more like siblings there. Lets see how this turns out

Yesterday, Raymond filmed his last "outside day" on Ma On Mountain for his new series "The Simple Clothed Soothsayer". This time Ray wasn't dealing with any beauty, but a snake. Even thought this snake's teeth has been removed, it still had some precautions to take because a snake is always dangerous. Yesterday's scene was about that Ray's brother in the series got poisonned and Ray poisonned himself to find a remedy.

In the scene where Ray had to take the snake in his hands, Ray was worried even thought the "King of Snakes" was there. But finally under the commands of the "King of Snakes" ,Ray finished by acting the scene perfectly.

When Ray gave the snake back to the "King of Snakes",the snake immediatly got on a tree branch and urinated. Ray replied that he was lucky that the snake didn't urinate on him when it was on his hands.

At first, this scene was supposed to be done with a fake snake but Ray insisted to take a real snake because it would be more realistic for the viewers.

To portray a gym trainer in a new series, "It's Hard To Be A Woman", Raymond Lam has to lose some weight and keep fit, and we can see that success is near for him, he said, "I've lost two inches on my waist, it's now 30 and a half inches, before it was about 32 inches, after losing some weight, it's easier to buy clothing, so I've spent $100,000HK to buy some new outfits and a new watch, for rewarding myself."

In the new series, Raymond will be in an older woman and a younger man relationship with Melissa Ng, and will have a bed scene with Sheren Tang, "I've been calling Melissa "Older Sister" before, but it won't feel weird being a couple with her, because a relationship with an older woman and a younger man is very common nowadays, but Sheren will be using me to get a baby, now that's something. We'll be filming this scene later on, (Will it be very "aggressive"?) Sheren Tang, Raymond Lam, Melissa Ng and Jacqueline Law attended the blessing ceremony of a new series, "It's Hard To Be A Woman". Afterwards, Sheren will film a bed scene with Raymond, the scene showed that Sheren wanted to have a baby, and her number one target was Raymond, so she gets him drunk and rapes him. Since Raymond usually films ancient series, this is his first time filming a bed scene, as to giving his first time to a senior, he's very calm with that and believes that Sheren will bring him into the scene.

Because in the series, Sheren will be trying to use a man to have a baby, so she'll have some intimate scenes with three men, first is Raymond, then it's Lee Ka Sing, who comes on his own because he's really in need of money, then she settles with Michael Tse by mistake. As to Raymond being very calm of giving her his first time, Sheren said, "I'll do my best, since he's been filming "Simple Clothed Soothsayer" before and his personality is more of a slow starter, so I've told him to let himself out more and relax, he has to make some quick serve macaroni, he can't still be riding a horse while others are driving a ferrari."

When asked if he felt nervous, Raymnd responded, "I'm alright! Sheren will lead me on, and the plot says that I'm drunk, so I don't know what's happening, bascially Sheren does most of the work." In the series, besides being a gym trainer, Raymond is also a salesman, selling feminine products. A few days ago, there's a scene of selling sanitary pads, most of the cast didn't want to touch the sanitary pads, but Raymond didn't mind and when they were doing some screen tests, they knocked over a cup of water, at that time, Melissa opened up a pack of pads and used one to soak up the water and it worked really quickly, Raymond laughed and said, "That's something I haven't seen before! After filming that scene, I found out that there's so many different types of pads. (Will you introduce some to your girlfriend?) I'll see when I get one!" When saying that he wasn't the least bit embarassed or shy when seeing sanitary pads, he was then asked if he has bought any for his girlfriend before? He gave a weird reaction and said, "Nope, but I don't think I'll mind, it's just that I haven't bought any for my girlfriend before, there's nothing strange about it though, if your house has a woman living in it, then you're bound to have seen sanitary pads before." Also because Raymond still hasn't been able to pull away from his character in "Simple Clothed Soothsayer", so now he keeps saying to himself, "Come back!", hoping to be able to enter his new character as quick as possible."
