No. "Kang Xi Di Guo" and "Yong Zheng Wang Chao" didn't even have the same directors. Chen Jia Lin directed KXDG and YZWC was directed by Hu Mei. "Qian Long Wang Chao" was directed by Ye Da Ying.

I'd watch "kang Xi Di Guo" and "Yong Chen Wang Chao" but i always wondered where is "Chien Long Ta Ti"? Can provide more info? i'm interested.

No, it's not a new series. It's the only one of the "trilogy" that I haven't watched yet either. It stars Jiao Huang (the actor who played Kang Xi in YZWC) as Qian Long.

It's a bit strange that red China allowed such sympathetic portrayals of the Manchurian conquerers.
Both are very awesome and well worth repeat watchings. Is the Chien Lung as good?

It cannot be denied that China and its people benefited from the stable rule of the Manchu (namely during the Kang Xi, Yong Zheng, and Qian Long era).

I haven't watched QLWC yet, but from what I've heard, it's good, but not as good as YZWC or KXDG.

After a third viewing of YZWC, I've started to watch this series. Unlike KXDG and YZWC, it only covers part of the namesake emperor's rule.
