Wong Fei Hong's "cam la sau" is the modern day Akido.

    Default In addition...

In addition, there actually exist inner kung fu for Tai Chi and Shaolin. It's just that it's extremely hard to learn. Tai Chi praticion Yang Something's nickname was Yang Invincible because he had incredible internal energy. He could hold a bird in his palm(with fingers flat) and not let it fly.

Yeah, the Yang family really existed during the Northern Sung Dynasty. The real fictional characters are the Yang Guo's, Yang Kang's, and Yang TeXian's of the JY world.

Hmmm…most kung fu styles have adopted the principles of qin-na (Kam-na) including Taichi Fist, Wing Chun and other East-Asian arts such as Hapkido and Aikido, but do these non-Chinese derivatives contain other elements of qin-na?

From this, I mean the more internal aspects like gripping acupoints or blocking qi channels, those that are extensively used by masters of the Shaolin Monastery.

I don't know much on these stuffs. But for the Iron Sand Palm, you really do dip your hand in steaming hot sand. And a good practicer could give an opponent severe injury if he had a good strike.

Who would be willing to do that? Dipping your hand in steaming hot sand would damage your hand.

Tai Chi is real. We see senior citizens practice it at city parks around the world every morning. It's quite far-removed from the skill as depicted in wuxia fiction, however.

Many Shaolin skills are to some extent real too, though again, never as fantastic as depicted in fiction.
