Hi SolyNLiza, I was speeding through the pages and this thread caught my attention. I know Yu Li, she's one of my favorite actress. I happen to have all the series you mentioned. Her other series would be Call of the Wild with Simon Yam and The Rise and Fall of ... Blossom with Shui Ling. I really really love her role in the latter, although the serie itself is a bit boring (and long, 40 eps), but her performance lightens up the serie and really proved her such a great and versatile actress. A pity she's not as famous as many of the 'vase actresses' we've seen nowadays.

You should also check her movie Cop Abula (here, she won a best supporting actress award in Festival Film of Asia Pacific) and Gray with Ti Lung.

I'm still searching for her serie in Justice Pao (ATV version)... she was in one of its episode.

sorry for bumping an old thread...but wanted to ask if anyone knows of a film Yu Li was in where it also had Lawrence Cheng and he was an ancient lawler or something. NOT Man of Wisdom, I believe it was made after based on that success. Steven Ma was also in it.

I believe she was the daughter of an insurance company or a transport company, she had a guys name "Long Thanh Quang", her father dies and she becomes the head and Lawrence helps her out a lot and they start to like each other. Steven comes very late into the series and is some kind of thief, but he likes her to, but he has a martial arts sister who likes him and gets jealous...I watched up to here and couldn't continue because the video store lost the tapes.

anyone know the vietnam or the english name to the film? it's been at least 9 years and i still can't get it out of my head because i don't know the ending.

No, I haven't watched such a show with Yu Li in it. Found a page with Yu Li's filmography, but in Chinese though:
