no, i don't think so either. She's got a beautiful face, but she's not the most beautiful IMO because there's nothing really special about her features, that plus her average acting. So i find her just a pretty face

There is a difference between looking very cute and acting cute characters.

I think LYF acts always cutish (she has a cute image), but her looks is more beautiful. (of course, I'm hold a grudge against her acting skills and her needs for tons of makeup in Tian Long Ba Bu. She didn't look that nice in ROCH without the makeup. at those times, she's just more cute.)

I'd think GYY is more beauty. Alyssa is more cute. (since GYY and Alyssa are always together, I should mention Alyssa as well).


Some girls who both look AND act cute/has a cute image/reputation. (I won't post pics of some already previous posted, though I believe Barbara Yung is definitely on this list.)

I agree with you. I personally hold a grudge towards LYF for making Xian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan worse and more draggy than it actually is. All her "Xiao Yao Ge GE." and her spending 15 episodes saying she will leave Xiao Yao, but uses 5 of those episodes staying in the same hotel with him.

Okay, back to her beauty. I don't think she's not beautiful, but I don't think she deserves to be called that beautiful (rated number 13, I believe). First of all, the basic beauty is a smile, and 1000000 actresses could do a better smile than LYF. (LYF has one of the worst smiles, I believe, for her face.) Liu Tao has such a beautiful smile (LT looks better when she smiles), as does Dong Jie.

Just an example, this smile is...disturbing. even though each of her features are all perfect, they just combine together to form a disturbing smile for some reason.

second, she has a lack of atmosphere, which to me is the inner beauty audiences can sense when an actress is onscreen. That's cause, I think, she never entered the shoes of her characters. Liu Tao and Chen Yi Rong have such good atmosphere, Qi Zhi.
