i would say 8 out of 10. the story is not boring, no silly character and good costumes too.

It called Pendekar Sejati. I dunno who else the name of the cast except vincent, and also the king is the guy that play Bu Hui dad's in HSDS03. I think he also played the king in HZGG1&2.

This film is highly recommended from me but I'm easy to please.

the story is more or less like the one that Just Mary post earlier, almost similar with the real story.

To Eeyore, Thanks for the info! I really like it when stories are consistent with the true story. That is why I don't like a lot of TVB series since they change the true story too much. I think I am going to like this series then.

Woah, I don't know he played a lot w/ Mimi Kung . I saw Five Heroes Seven Chivarous in betamax, look forward for the vcd but haven't found one.

But I managed to get the Justice Bao Gong Chi An (Judge Bao rotating from here and there around China) vcd, w/ Vincent as Chan Cao off course

Btw, had anyone here saw him as the Silky Mice Pai Yi Thang, in Ray Lui's version Justice Bao?

As far as I know vincent jiao starred with mimi kung in just only about 2 or 3 series which are

1. star tales
2. seven heroes, five chivalrous
3. spooky folktales

On one website the english title of vincent jiao's modern series with mimi kung is different.

one stated the english title as "star tales--after saying goodbye" while other stated as "story of women in different zodiac".

I was kind of disappointed in the sequel called "heroine of the yangs II" he was more like a supporting actor than a leading actor.
It's too bad the character he played died early during the story.

I thought he was the leading actor since he's character was the husband of the leading female character played by actress, amy chan sau man.
