Vincent plays ZSF from age 18 to 100. Carmen plays the two main girls. ZSF may not end up with anyone at the end but there won't be a lack of romance in the series. ZSF's hair turned white overnight because of Carmen's character.

I'm don't recognized the other actors (see pictures below) and have no idea what actresses are also in the series. There aren't any pictures of the other actresses.

Actually, the Journey to the West thing looks the most interesting, especially that costume. But Long Xia has a cool name, so I might go for that. Of course, I will probably also be hindered by what my video store actually carries.

To Damsel, Thank you so much for all the pix!! I haven't seen Vincent act in any series since 2002. I am guessing that he is taking a break since back in 2002-2002, he was making series non stop. When was this Tai Chi series made?? He was another version of bao Lian Deng too?? When was this??? I am so behind in his news.... They are remaking Bao Lian Deng again?? I guess they are really running out of stories...

Er Lang Shen does have a dog with him. This dog takes human form in the series. Er Lang Shen likes the maiden who lives on the moon (girl in the picture) but she likes the pig instead.

Vincent hasn't been resting these days. In 2003 he did Fong Qiu Huang and Wu Dong (Tai Chi series). Wu Dong was finished in Jan 2004. Vincent is currently playing Er Lang Shen in Bao Lian Deng. They are expected to finish shooting in May.

Fong Qiu Huang is about a very famous love story in Chinese history. Vincent plays a scholar here instead of a da xia. This series is scheduled for release in China in June. Here are some pictures.

Vincent has been very busy, I can't believe he filmed so many series in such a short period. YES! he does play Er-lang Shen...is that the THREE EYE GOD? In some versions of the myths, he fell in love with Dac Ky.....sorry dont know her name in Chinese. But I'm a little confused, if he is the THree Eye God, is he also the same guy who gave its people their first "night" because China had seven suns which caused many people to suffer because of the unbearable heat and blinding light?

Feng Qiu Huang looks promising too. Its a famous love story? anyone know how to read chinese to summarize a little of what this story is about? thanks

Hi Damsel! thank you so much again for all the news and pix. I am really behind in his news lately.I assume so many things that aren't true... School fever is getting to me. So he is playing Er lan shen in bao Lian Deng?? I hope they make him likable in this version. IN Jimmy's version, he was not likable at all.... Did you see Feng Qiu Huang yet?? I think Zhang san Feng is not released yet. I saw the Dicky version on TV and hated it....dicky's version disrespected Zhang San Feng's character. I sure hope Vincent's version will be better...

Trinie, Feng Qiu Huang isn't out yet. I think they're waiting for it to be shown in China (scheduled for June 04) before releasing the VCD.

Trinie, I'm really eager for this series as well. There's been lot of positive press on it. One plus for me is the series' happy ending (based on history). Vincent finally gets the girl in this series.

Have you noticed many of Vincent's characters do not get the girl at the end? He plays lot of lonely, tragic heroes.

TO Damsel, Thanks for the info! Oh so Vincent will end up with his lover in this series?? that is great!!! Yea, I have noticed that a lot of his characters are sad and don't end up with the one he loves. Actually he was supposed in Dagger lee but they changed the story. He was supposed to be with Xiao hong, not all lonely and depressed.

To eeyore, The version of Tai Chi master with Vincent is new. But there have been many many series done about Zhang San Feng and that story before....
