YOu mean the Magic Sword right? It is actually part 2 since Dagger Lee is supposed to be all one part. I saw it over 3 years ago.... IT came out in 2001. IT is ok, but not that good since I saw it 2-3 times.

i don't know, but i think it's new. it's continuing from Dagger Lee. but the main actresss is not the same girl as in Dagger Lee. it's call "The Spoony". i don't know whether it's last year or not, but i know it's after Dagger Lee.

The Magic Sword is the Spoony. It is new for the Viet fans but has been out in Chinese since 2001.I don't know why it says "the spoony" on the Viet cover. It should be the Magic Sword....Vincent stars in it as Li XUn Huan again...

i'm watching that sequal to dagger lee right now. i just love vincent in there. he looks soo handsome and charismatic. he definitely has the "ancient type" look. i like all the movies i seen him in so far. i think he's a really talented actor. i'd love to see him a CLH.

I have a lot of clips of Vincent in his numerous series, thanks to a number of his talented fans. I have like three fan videos of his series with Carmen and a lot of his dagger lee ones. It's all music videos, and its very very nice. Let me know, so I could upload it or something.

Hey there you guys!! How are all of you guys doing huh? It really has been a long long time since I've popped in here, but since I am watching a Vincent serie (finally one released!!!) I thought it was time to come back, hehe. Currently watching him in Wu Dang with Carmen Lee, Cheung Sai, and etc. I've only seen 2 tapes, but so far its interesting. I do hope that it'll be better then Taiji Prodigy

Hi goddess! Nice to see you here! I haven't been watching any series lately due to school. I really want to see a new one of Vincent though. The last one I saw was Fei Dao wen Qing which was about 2-3 years ago. I really hope that Wu Dang is better than Taiji Prodigy.....

    Hey there Trinie!!

Gosh, that must really stink Trinie. But think to the good side Once school ends you'll have all these series that you'll be able to watch completely without having to wait!! hehe.

Well I just finished renting Wu Dang, there was a total of 23 tapes. I still haven't gotten really far into it however. I've only seen up to tape 3 and its pretty good. It does look better then Taijia Prodigy however since there is a more realistic tone to it rather then the whole comedy continuously in TP

I'll write more once I get more into the serie, hehe ^__^ Talk with you next time Trinie and take care now!!!

Here are some posters from the series Lotus Lantern (Bao Lian Deng). It should be coming out soon. It's being broadcasted in China around Chinese New Year.

Thanks for all those pictures Damsel!!! Oh wow, that looks really good!!! I'm getting really excited!! OH OH OH, so this is also the one that Yvonne Lim was filming huh? Gosh, before I thought it was two seperate version, but didn't know it was one!! This is great then!!! I love the castings already!!! Lol, just from the pics I am getting high expectations

Hehe, Trinie!!! I finished watching Wu Dang a week or so ago finally. Overall the serie was okay. Average if you ask me yet I enjoyed it. Espically the relationship between Vincent and Carmen, it was really touching. Anyways this compared to Taiji, it would definately win. However I don't think the storyline was too accurate to 'history.' At least to what I know.

In Wu Dang, Vincent was not the founder of Wu Dang, but he did become a student and eventually become leader and founded what Wu Dang became. But it was definately better then Taiji. I enjoyed it

Hi everyone! im kinda late in this forum, too bad.
Jus care to share wat films uve seen him in? Here's my list, in the order ive seen
    1. Hua Mu Lan
    2. Xiao Li fei Dao (he guest starred in HML and left early to film this)
    3. Qi Xia Wu Yi (loved it, esp him with HML's Su Ji Li, Sun Xing)
    4. Dao Ge III- Hui Xuan Dao (him and Alyssa, a half blind swordsman)
    5. Qing she yu bai she/ Xin Bai She Zhuan- him and Zhang Yu Yan. A very convincing young Fa Hai: like his character in HML when he became a Taoist monk
    6. A case of Justice Bao, the part about Justice Bao bringing the two families together by marriage of their son and daughter - Vincent had to marry the daughter in a part of the story when he intervened in a fight for marriage. The niece of Justice Bao also has a little feeling on him.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    NOTE ABOUT HUA MU LAN
I visited a HML forum on Network54 and some viewers suggested since they wanted Anita with Wing Zhao, he could have been with Yi Ren- they had more chemistry than Sun Xing and her, as he looks so old! He could have played a intresting role when Wing visited the brothel and quarelled with Anita.

Hi! I'm dropping by 'cause Mary suggested that I do. Anyway, I've never actually watched one full series with Vincent Jiao in it, but I do think he looks very handsome in ancient costumes. I watched a trailer for "Lotus Lantern" and it seems pretty funky with all these Gods and demons and...Sun Wu Kong too! So what character is Vincent playing in here?

    Dear LZ,

You came!! you came!! drat, I have too many emails and I dont know which email I used for this forum, gotta change it because I dont know if there are any new responses.

I always thought you saw a series with Vincent, maybe i'm confused because you are toooo knowledgeable with so many series. Oh here is a preview clip of Lotus Lantern. I uploaded a long time ago to yousendit, probably expire soon, and since you said you saw the preview, maybe its the same one, I have no idea.

Talk to you later LZ, are you watching World Peace? I am a fan of Shirley Dai and been waiting for a series with her after watching Phoenix Swing. Oh, and I will upload the video to Loose play king or something like it with Vincent Jiao, Shirley Dai and NIng JIng.

Hi Mary! How've you been? Yep, I came 'cause you asked me to. Sorry I haven't checked this thread in awhile. Since I'm not subscribed to it, I wasn't aware that you'd replied.

I saw the first couple of episodes of "The Switch" and that's all I've seen of Vincent in action thus far. I know he stars in "Wu Dang" as Zhang San Feng, so when I watch that series for Yan Kuan, I'll see Vincent as well.

Yep, that yousendit upload is no longer available, so I don't know if it's the same clip I'd seen earlier. If it was pretty long (like 5 minutes or so), then it probably was. Do you know what character Vincent is playing?

No, I'm not watching "World Peace" right now. I've only seen the first couple of episodes. If you're a fan of Shirley, you should definitely watch it. She looks cute in drag and matches up pretty well with Eric Suen.

It has been a while since I watch any ancient taiwanese series, but recently i got to watch the switch aka stealing dragon exchanging phoenix with eng sub (by the way, it is my second time watching it) and I fall in love with the series and vincent all over again. Somehow it seem a lot better than the first time i watched it. Anyway, i'm kind of depressed now, since i just finished watching the switch and it seems so empty w/o it. I'm really tempted to watch part 2 of it, but can not bring myself to do it since vincent is not in it. Can anyone recommend me any other good series that has somewhat similar plot, beside princess pearl or any other vincent recent series. Thank a lot.
    YY
