You're welcome. I knew you would like it. I picked this mv because it had lots of his "goofy" expressions in it. I hated part 2 as well. I tried watching it but couldn't get pass the first few chapters.

I feel the same way. I loved Vincent's portrayal of the character but didn't like the character. When asked about the character, Vincent said he thought the character was stupid to give up the woman he loved. He would never do that.

After 10 years of doing ancient custom series, Vincent is finally filming a modern series. About time if you ask me.
Don't know anything about the story line yet (everyone's being very secretive about it). There is some time travel involved. The below pictures should explain (or not). Yes, they are all from the same story. Vincent's character is from the present. Some of the other characters have traveled from the past to the present.

    Vincent's pictures first:

Now why did you have to go and tell me that ? Ignorance is bliss I tell ya. I want a hug too !!! Totally unfair! Either way, I can't/understand Chinese, so I wouldn't be able to join his fan club Oh, how dare that fan steal a kiss. That's just wrong! . Yes, I'm feeling very jealous!

Of course, he wouldn't do that. He's such a romantic and loving husband. All the more reason to admire the guy . Dagger Lee is just a messed up character overall. Martial arts talent = yes, but way too melodramatic and emotionally weak.

His new series sounds awesome! Oh, can't wait! Thanks for keeping me updated. Gosh, are the characters from JTTW visiting the future? Wow, it's been 10 years already? Yup, Vincent is surely overdue for a modern series. He'll do great. I just know it

Thanks for the pics. For some reason they remind me of him in the Lotus Lantern. Anyone else feel like that?

You're getting that feeling because they're using the same cast from Lotus Lantern, with some exceptions. A rumour was circulating a little while back that this is a sequel to Lotus Lantern. All the characters from Lotus Lantern have traveled through time to the future. That is not true. Shooting already started but the plot is still a mystery. What gives?

Even in a modern setting, Vincent still comes off as a pretty boy with muscles. He probably jogs a lot in the morning or work out to keep in shape. Well what I mean about pretty boy is well he may be in modern clothes but he still sits with a *fan* like a rich gong zi and he still exudes that hero aura.

Yup....hopefully it'll be released in 2007. Btw, wht's the Mandarin title to this series?

Apparently, the title is in Cantonese on the review.

You know I have to share the bad with the good. My chances of meeting Vincent in person is next to zero, much less getting a hug from the guy. Misery loves company. I had to share the pain. Now to compensate for the pain how about another mv on your favourite goofy king? http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DAJGF9I4

Vincent did a series that took place in the 1930's about 7 years ago. He didn't need to wear a wig but that doesn't really count as a modern series. One of my favourite series is a modern one he did around 10 years ago called "Hua Luo Hua Kai" 花落花開. Too bad there's no DVD version.

kawaii, this is the series you asked about.

Ah Damsel, yes, yes, we are in the same boat. Chances of meeting our idol is pretty much a big fat 0 . Let me treat to you to a cocktail to cheer you up . But wait, are you old enough to drink? Maybe just for you… hehehehe

Gosh, you sure are hoarding a lot of treasures. That music video is so awesome… capturing most of Vincent’s comedic facial expressions. I can’t say this enough… he’s such an acting talent! Even goofing around, he still looks like a hero

By the way, I just came across a poster for a new series about the Bull Demon from Journey To The West. The lead actor looks very similar to Vincent, but I can’t confirm because he’s looking down. Can you verify, Damsel?

I can verify that the leading actor is indeed Vincent. It's a series called Hong Hai Er that was released in 2005. I've purchased the DVDs myself, and Vincent's name is part of the cast list for leading actors.

Thanks for confirming, kawaiigurl. I guess I'll have to wait for the Viet dubbed release. Gosh, it just sucks that I don't understand Chinese

Btw, is it a good series? Worth watching? Any helpful comments? Although I'm not too fond of that bull headgear of his, I'm sure Vincent is good looking as always.

I don't really know as I've only purchased it last week. Right now, I'm currently renting other Vincent series that I can find at my local rental store for $0.10 an episode.

Btw Damsel, I was wondering if u have anymore Vincent interviews (I noe it's too much to ask for, so I'm really sorry) from when he was filming "The Tear Stained Sword"?

Give this link a try. http://post.baidu.com/f?kz=92639694 This is all I have right now. I remember seeing other pictures not long ago but can't find it right now. I'll post more if/when I find them.

I don't have anymore sit down interviews but I do have some clips of reporters visiting his filming sites. I'll upload some of them.

Thanks for the cocktail tweety. We'll get through the tough times together. Don't worry, I'm well past the drinking age.
Yes, I do have lots of goodies saved. I must have mv's for all of his series. You name it, I should have it. Vincent's got some very talented fans making them.

As kawaii already confirm, the Bull Demon is Vincent. The series was ok. It's got the good and the bad. The bad is it can't decide whether its a kid's show or adult show. The first half concentrated on the Red Child and the lessons he learned. It's lively and comical. The second half concentrated on the Bull Demon. He lost his memory and powers, and fell in love with another woman. It's more serious and emotional. The good is the acting. Everyone did a great job. I was quite impressed with the kid actor. Vincent the Bull is adorable in here. He may be the bull in the family but he's got a lion at home. Yes, you guessed it, he's a wife fearing bull. There is also the mother-in-law problem. His wife and mother don't get along. The poor Bull is caught between them.
