vincent is a great actor....i loved him in ancient drama.....his best co-star for me will have to be chen hao and carmen...he was great with them....i first saw him in 'tears of heaven' but didn't really pay attention to him but his performance left me speechless and i always wanted to know who he was...i finally knew more about him when i watched 'dagger lee'....i think vincent is a gifted actor...he acts so natural with ease...you are convince by his every move....

I watch mostly TVB dramas. Vincent and his dramas are the only non-TVB dramas that I watch. I get the Fairchild TV channel that aires mostly TVB shows. Justice Bao was aired on Fairchild and at first I didn't watch it because I could not understand Mandarin, but I did watch a few stories in the end because my parents watched it. I liked Kenny Ho's Zhan Zhao so when "Qi Xia Wu Yi" aired, I watched it. This Zhan Zhao was of course Vincent and he was gorgeous!!!!! "Qi Xia Wu Yi" was my first Vincent drama and is still my favourite. I didn't know his English name then.
The next drama I saw him in was "Tears from Heaven". His character was evil and I didn't want to hate him so I only watch 1 or 2 episodes. That was almost 10 years ago. Just this summer I found his English name and pinyin and discoverd he has been very busy. I had missed out on so much. I have been catching up on his dramas. I still love to watch him and he's still gorgeous.

I found the first episode of Vincent's series 魔幻手机 - "Magic Mobile Phone" on Tudou.com. I hope that means there is more to come.

Yesasia has The Tearful Sword with English Subtitles and Cantonese and Lotus Lantern with English Subtitles.

魔幻手机 - Magic Mobile Phone is a Sci-Fi comedy, 42 episodes. From what I can figure out people from 2060 created a time traveling computer hologram (a form of a girl). The story takes place mostly in the present time 2006 with some of the members like the Pig, Monkey king brought to our present time. It’s like Sci-Fi meets Lotus Lantern. Vincent’s character is from the present. Vincent is looking very hot and it’s his real voice in the series!

Hi Kawaiigurl, Great to hear from you. I am here more than facebook because I like to check out other threads. I do pop into facebook from time to time but I can't answer some of the questioned to keep the discussion going. It would be great to have a discussion on Magic Mobile Phone. I am a bit confused on a few things. I also need some confirmation from some of Vincent's interviews on Youtube. It seems he has decided to do modern series from now on. Is that true?

Hey The Cat, do check out facebook I just posted a new discussion topic on Magic Mobile Phone and am waiting for you to reply so we can discuss it. I just finished exams today and the last 8 epis of Magic Mobile Phone. I'm thinking about keeping series discussion in the facebook group so more people can get interested and Vincent's personal news in this forum. With regards to whether he's doing modern series only in the future, if I remember correctly, he said in an interview that he didn't have a specific genre. As long as the script is good he'll do it. Though he did mention that he'd like to focus on modern series now and movie acting more. Hope that helps.

OMG, I haven't been updated in Vincent's news lately since I have been busy and all. However, he has always been one of my most favorite actors of all time. Thanks for the news, but I am so shocked that he and his wife divorced. I thought that they had a happy marriage and all?? I wonder what happened??I remember how happy he was when he mentioned that he and his wife got married and all. That is really sad to hear.... I guess I am not that shocked since divorce is more common these days. They were married in 1994 and divorced in 2005. This is very sad... I hope that Vincent is ok. I hope that if he gets married again that he will truly be happy the second time.... Do you know what happened?? I hope that he still gets to see his daughters and all... so sad...

Yes, I was also quite shocked and sad when Kawaiigurl107 posted the news. This is a bit of what Kawaiigurl107 translated from Vincent's blog:

He didn't want to divorce but she said that if they divorce now he could keep the kids since she was just interested in money. They divorced and he and his two daughters moved back to the southern part of Taiwan to live with his mother. But since he spends a majority of time filming, he's not always around to watch the kids. His older brother told him it was okay and that he would be their guardian when Vincent wasn't around. His daughters didn't get along with his brother and two years later his wife came back and fought for custody of the children. She won the case, leaving him really hurt. What happened to Damsel? She disappeared from this thread as well . I suppose everyone has been super busy (myself included). For the record, even if I don’t drop by often enough, my love for Vincent is everlasting. A pity that I am no longer a young teenager with carefree times on my hands. So many things require my attention .

First off, thank you for keeping this thread alive, TheCat! Secondly...
I am totally shocked by the news! I have always wanted Vincent to find happiness and thought he was happily married with a loving family. At least it sure looked that way. Obviously, there is more drama behind closed doors. I don't know the full details about their relationship, so I won't comment on Fendi. Although my heart just wants to condemn her for hurting him TWICE ! Poor guy. I so want to give him a giant . I hope his wounds are better now that years have passed since the divorce. My prayers will be with him to find true love in the future.
