yes, they have changed the categories this year.. making it more like conventional awards a la the Emmys in America and the Television Drama Award in Japan.

TLB was SUPPOSE to be last years but it was too late, and TVB announced it as one of this years FIRST series. But i know that many have forgotten about this series. But I know I haven't.

Because TVB realized the "Most Improve" category was basicly a popularity contest and they were being retards by giving them to Ron and Shirley last year. Everyone knows Ron and Shirley didn't improve jacksh!t and didn't deserved the awards over Leila, Bernice, and Bosco! So they now try to make themself look better by chaning the title to "Best NewComer"

Nope.. don't think so.. Its still a Korean series no matter how the HK citizens loved it.. unless this award is meant to award to other Asian country's series too..

Anyways, I won't make my pick now.... I've always just picked from the nominees they nominated on that very day ... If I was right, then I'll boast to my family "See!! I was right! Hahahahah!"

Well.. now that you've said it.. I hope Leila gets it.. Bernice.. I don't know.. I just like Leila better.. Besides, I kinda find Bernice irritating in most series except Virtues of Harmony.. She's ok in Survivor's Law.. but I didn't liked her much in Healing Hands III..

From this year's stand point Bernice deserves it more than Leila because I thought she did really good in Love Bond, but I felt Leila got screwed last year so they need to give it to her this year! Its not fair but oh well, Bernice just needs to get in line!

i think in the past..jessica, ada and esther had the award..i think kenix has a strong chance..she had two/three series out this year..RDOV, love bond and ten brothers (not seen btw)

i still say KK will win best actress. logically, she hasn't won one yet, so tvb might give it to her, and she was great in love bond, and RDOV was such a major production.

best male: eh that's a little hard, bowie won last year, so not him again. lawrence wasn't so wonderful in HH3, moses was funny in GC, but i don't know if tvb is ready to award him best male yet. it might actually be joe ma..but we'll have to wait and see.

best newcomer: i would say B2, cuz she was in several good series this year. HH3 should be counted as a pretty major series; i think she was good in LB, and she's quite good in Into Thin Air so far.

even tho some say that leila may have deserved it last year, this year, i don't think leila did too much or was really stellar in any series, so it wouldn't make sense just to give it to her simply because she didn't get it last year. then what will happen next year? give it to B2 even tho someone else may deserve it more? they can't keep pushing it back like that.
