Who was stronger, HR or LMC??

Yeah but if we talk about adaptions, anyone is stronger than anyone else. Even Sweeper is killed in one, why cant they just stick to the story. I rather watch the same story (exact to the novel) again than watch some bs adaption they completely screw up the storyline.

BTW what happened in that fight? If HR wins, then it proves nothing - the bread with there by HR planning (rather than divine intervention).

i think LMC because on the ROCH (95), didnt LMC throw 1 of her poison needle at HR and it hit 1 of the bread HR bought in the market, so it saved HR's life.

Didn't know they changed it to bread in the TV adaptation. In the novel she used an apple not bread. And it wasn't by luck that the needles hit the apple, HR used her quick thinking to use the apple hidden in her sleeve to "collect" the needles, before tricking LMC to injure her own palms on the needles afterwards.

In TVB 95 adaptation, they did change it to bread but in 83 version they sticked to "apple". But, TVB adaptation often left the impression that HR was not injured by LMC's needles due to her luck.

That's one tough piece of bread... at least LMC saved HR from having to eat it.
