I think the vietnamese population usually more cantonese over mandarin.. and mainland series are in mandarin

hmmm, maybe... My friends (those who are bilingual) and I only understand cantonese and vietnamese. I can pick up ~20% of the Mandarin but for some reason my vietnamese is getting worse over the years. Lack of use and now a lot of the pronunciation is incorrect especially accents like ~ ?.

And I,only understand 0,001 % of Mandarin .Chinese handwriting is quite difficult to learn,it has tens of strokes and also many accents,like Vietnamese.Foreigners always complain about speaking vietnamese,if only I weren't vietnamese,i do think so,hehe

In Vietnam, there is a place where alot of chinese reside and they 95 % of the time are cantonese speakers. Usually, the Vietnamese somehow end up being more affililated with cantonese than mandarin

Vietnamese, speaking is hard, but writing is much easier than chinese characters
