Thanks for all the pics. I really like the pic of Yang Mi in the hoodie. She looks really cute there. And you mean during her ROCH filming days as opposed to LOCH, right? That's when i was first exposed to her. I haven't watched the 2006 version yet but i skipped to her part because i was curious to see who was playing Guo Xiang. When i saw her, i was very interested in wanting to know more about her. But yeah, i liked her look in that series. I was thinking you think the way her face looks now also has something to do with her having some molars pulled in the back of her mouth for that one movie she had to do? You know, like it's not just a weight issue?

Oh, really?? I didn't know that. It's quite obvious now that you've mentioned it because her chin/jaw is a lot sharper now than it was before. I always attributed that to her weight loss, but you're right, it probably has more to do with the removal of her molars.. which is a shame, because she looked so much better and healthier when her cheeks were fuller. Why did they require that she have them pulled out?

The 'Bailing-ish' bangs are a very popular trend amongst chinese/taiwanese girls these days. But I agree, they make her look very unattractive. Hopefully, the trend will be over soon.

i perfer her more "studio" or "paparazzi" looking pictures than her "my space lookalike" picture. it's not a very flattering angle of her

Uh, to be honest, some of the poses in the photos above are creepy; Yang Mi looks like a breathing doll.

YM's probably wearing very little or no make-up but i've gotta say that she looks about 30 in this pic!..her eyes look very weary and old-looking and her cheeks are just as sunken as ever!

Having just finished filming for "Xiao Zhe Huo Xia Qu", YM has immediately entered filming works for ancient series, "Qian Gu Di Yi Dao", in which she plays the first princess of the Qin Dynasty, Princess Ying Ling. The director for QGDYD is the well-known Chen Jia Lin, who also directed another of her series, "Wang Zhao Jun". YM expressed happiness on working with Director Chen again and states that she feels very lucky for being offered leading roles in his series twice. QGDYD is currently being filmed in inner mongolia.

No information on the male casts yet though i suspect it'll probably be a male-dominated series since it focuses on Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Chen Jia Lin is planning to have the series released during the Beijing Olympics in August next year.

Well, Chen stated that he plans to release "Qian Du Di Yi Dao" in time for the Beijing Olympics during August next year.

As for "Wang Zhao Jun", post-filming work was already been completed a long time ago and it was scheduled to air during a prime-time slot on CCTV's (mainland) drama channel in the middle of June this year. But somehow, the TV station suddenly switched programmes and aired a documentary instead of WZJ. Eversince June, there hasnt been any news regarding when WZJ will be released, except some rumours that it would be aired in China over the summer vacation, which seems to be ending soon anyway. Sometimes they release the series on DVD first before they air it but so far, there has been no news on any possible release on DVD either. It's a rather sickening wait 'cause its been almost 2 years since filming ended.

maybe he's waiting for her popularity to reach its peak before he releases that series as it is a grand production? maybe he considers it his masterpiece so that in order to attract as large of an audience as possible, he wants the lead actress to have a huge fanbase? i'm just speculating...so wishful of me. the man better releases it soon! maybe he wants us to forget about it so by the time he releases it, it'll come across as a surprise for us. just maybe.

can't wait to see yang mi's costume fitting for her new series.

In my country,Wang Zhao Jun has been shown since 08-08-07,and most people love Yang Mi.She's cute,adorable and act very attractively.Not only her appearance but also her voice drives me crazy Firstly,I saw her in ROCH and now is WZJ,the more times I see,the lovelier she is .WZJ hasn't been shown at CCTV,has it?
