It's so cute when they tease/bicker with each other. At one point FSF even makes a "fat joke" with YM (saying she had a "double chin" because they both ate a lot during Gong filming). Don't think most of YM's male friends would dare say that! XD It also sounds like they will continue collaborating in various projects together so I can't wait to hear what they announce next! It's also great how they are very supportive of each others' work and seem to trust each other a lot; YM even jokes that FSF has other beautiful girls (i.e. Cecilia Cheung) sitting beside him, lmao...

Yes, done by CCTV--this is actually a MAJOR event (never heard of it myself but the fans on Baidu really wanted YM to go, because apparently it's a really huge event that would really boost exposure). Apart from FSF/YM as well as HG and LYF, many big-name stars are on the guest-list including Zhang Ziyi, Li Bingbing, Fan Bingbing, Vicki Zhao, Gong Li, Yao Chen, Barbie Hsu, Lin Chiling, Jackie Chan, Huang Xiaoming, Donnie Yen, Lu Yi, Deng Chao, etc. as well as many big-name directors/producers.

Gotta say I do not envy YM's agent's job--can you imagine the nightmare of trying to manage her schedule and trying to make it work with all those producers/directors/event organizers without offending any of them?

I definitely agree with Du Chun's description of YM. In terms of what Du Chun said that he thinks YM needs a guy who can "control/restrain" her sounds a bit too chauvinistic for my liking. I heard him used the character "zhen zhu" meaning "to restrain/to control/to weigh down on her" in the video interview but I heard some fans said he also used the character "jia shi" meaning "to drive/navigate/direct" YM. A lot of YM's female fans, especially the Beijing ones, hate that term since they found it derogatory and full of masochism if used upon the opposite sex. Based on these comments and what tidbits I know about Du Chun, he's definitely exhibits the traits of a classic "northern Chinese man" = patriarchal. I just can't imagine YM being with a chauvinistic guy. Can you imagine fiery verbal exchanges between them? (remember the arrogant guy from Central Theater Academy in Happy Camp episode?)

Even though i don't really know what is the true nature of FengMi's relationship, but I definitely don't think YM can always have the upper hand in their teasing/bickering. The driving incident comes to mind.

P.S. I personally think Du Chun and his rumored girlfriend, Zhang Jia Ni (girl from Dream's Link) are very likely an item, even more likely than FengMi. Cuz I saw paparazzi photos of their dates in Beijing + Zhang Jia Ni keeps leaving romantic comments on Du Chun's weibo and Du Chun. LOL

Yes, I agree--if YM really did get with a guy who was "stronger than her in all aspects" (first of all, seriously hard to find!) and who could "control" her, all I can imagine is them arguing all the time and the guy can't handling the fact that YM has a such a "bold/outgoing" personality. On the other hand, she also probably can't be with a guy who is super meek and just takes her teasing without returning it (e.g. most of the guys at the mercy of her relentless teasing). Personally my opinion is that Du Chun is just using this as an excuse as to why YM/FSF are not dating (he seems to have no qualms lying straight-faced to media after all), but I am biased in that respect!

Anyways I think FSF's personality matches her very well--he clearly finds her bullying/teasing adorable and endearing (rather than feeling hurt like a few other guys are prone to do). In addition, YM as well as their friends have mentioned that FSF teases her right back (their LeTV interview makes reference to this as well)--it's just that this probably happens more in private because FSF seems to be very respectful of YM in front of the media and is reluctant to say anything bad about her (therefore all we see is mostly YM doing the teasing). And when it comes to YM, the way to "handle" her is not to be "stronger" than her, but as a popular Chinese phrase says, "using 'softness' to counter 'iron' " ("yi rou ke gang"). i.e. instead of arguing with her, FSF appears to go along with her and be indulgent but he by no means is a meek guy who just listens to her--as JoleCole mentioned, he uses logic to change her mind about driving; and he seems to be doing his own thing when it comes to handling their "relationship rumours" in the media (not being shy at all in expressing his feelings about YM despite the fact that YM is going around crushing all the rumours). Just look at the way YM melts and dissolves into cute giggles/laughter when she's beside him, a completely different side of her than her usual cool/collected persona in front of the media...I'd say he's doing a pretty good job of "handling" YM and getting his way too half the time. LOL.

ym is such a good speaker and very great at answering questions without burning bridges. she cleary explains why she resigned from a project while also defending that she's not one to break promises because of new projects that may provide a more promising role. i don't know...i don't feel much chemistry between the two outside of friendship. perhaps because i can't follow their chinese fan site, but i do hope there's something more. both are so crazy busy that i don't know how they have the time for a relationship. yet with all these joint endorsement in their immediate future, i guess they will have more time to be with each other?

i have to say that fsf's description of ym as a bee is super cute!!! and ym seems very relaxed and giggly around him. i just don't see him adoring her so much in this video as i do in pictures.

I know--well I mean I am not tempted to turn into a Fei-Mi shipper, but that thread is providing me with endless amusement. After hearing the news, one guy posted up a mini "fanfic" story of LYF/YM--it makes zero sense but apparently it involves LYF/YM declaring their true love for each other on the awards show stage, while saying some truly terrible melodramatic lines and bursting into tears because they are overcome with emotion, and then at the end LYF asking YM to move into her huge mansion with her.

You got that right. After the news came out it that it wasn't going to be solely LYF/YM onstage, one guy posted: "At this moment...I just want to say...Feng Shaofeng, I HATE YOU. Fei-Mi = true love...If you let me see you on the red carpet holding one on the left and one on the right, I will " (I assume he was in too much despair and shock at the news, because I expected him to say he was going after FSF with death threats...but the image of him bawling his eyes out alone in front of his TV is not exactly very threatening.

And someone else: "Today my emotions are up and down like a rollercoaster....*smiley gif of a person bashing their head in* FSF must meet with a tragic end!!!! Otherwise I will never forgive him..."

Apparently these event organizers are absolutely hellbent on getting as much press attention and media focus as they can squeeze out of these three. >_<

Referring to poor FSF stuck in the middle, not daring to put a toe out of line (trying not to inadvertently offend the fans of either girl, or cause some ridiculous stories in the tabloids tomorrow...)
