i know! =) but for some reason, i'm fangirling an ady and ym collab since they are my favorite actresses of their generation. and i'd like to see ym with other men in series/movies...but wish to see more fengmi interactions in real life since they seem much sweeter as a real life couple.

Yeah. As much as I love Fengmi, I don't want them to couple too much and have people get sick of them. I'm just comparing because FSF seems to have pretty good luck after Gong's sucess. First, he gets to pair up with LYF in White Vengeance now he's going to pair up with fan bing bing in an upcoming movie. I want to see Yang Mi to be lead and pair up with an A-list actor in an A-list movie too. ;]

Seriously, a YM/Ady collab is way overdue...as is a YM/Shu Chang collab! (I thought I'd be getting that with Gong 2 but it doesn't seem like I'll even be getting a picture out of that ).

Anyways I think Huayi does a pretty good job managing their artists. Look how famous Yao Chen is now--plus they did a fantastic job handling her divorce, too; a lot of times rumours get really nasty when celebs get involved in a high-profile divorce but from what I heard, Huayi took care of everything really well. FSF has also benefited from several great movie projects thanks to Huayi taking advantage of his post-Gong popularity (well, it's due to his own hard work and talent of course but Huayi's proper management of his schedule has made it possible, unlike with Yang Mi). And I remember Ady used to also suffer from a string of bad projects etc, but since she joined Huayi it feels like things have been getting way better (sadly, I haven't watched any of her movies or series lately...but the quality certainly seems to have improved and she's had a leading role in many of them).

As for FengMi, I'm probably one of the only ones but I wouldn't mind more collabs between them. ^_^ Actually, YM has had way more collabs with other actors than FSF has had with other actresses since Gong. Mentioned this before but FSF has only acted opposite Ady, LYF, and FBB apart from YM since then. Meanwhile, in the past year YM has had onscreen romances with Li Chen, Yuan Wenkang, Hawick Lau, Chi Shuai, whoever plays the emperor guy in MRTX, Shawn Yue, Vic Chou...not to mention whoever plays her boyfriend in "Ba Xing Bao Xi", plus Vincent Zhao/Louis Fan in Da Wudang (but probably no romance scenes there).

(Warning: more FengMi fangirling ahead!) But I agree, their real-life interactions are even sweeter...reading their weibos lately is pretty much a nonstop squee-session, LOL! Can they get any more obvious?? XD And I just keep laughing while watching MingYun because of the real-life FengMi parallels (wondering how much of the dialogue was spontaneously added by FengMi--there was one scene in particular where I'm almost positive FSF added a line, because it's a phrase that he said YM always says during their Chaoji interview, and I swear FSF was slightly smirking mischievously at YM in that scene when he said it! ) Not to mention all the people who seemed to be FengMi shippers while wishing FSF happy bday; and now that Hong Men Yan is about to be released, FSF's producer of that movie is starting to look like almost as big a FengMi shipper as YM's DMGD producer, bwahahah! He actually replied to/reposted one of YM's newest weibos, which was all lovey-dovey but didn't reference anyone in particular, encouraging her/giving her advice on how to act towards "that person"...then someone asked him, "are you referring to your HMY actor (i.e. FSF) in your post?" The producer replied "I can't say!" Haha. Then someone else asked him if he was planning on inviting YM to one of the HMY promos or something (just like FSF surprised YM at her DMGD one) and he replied "Yes!" Not getting my hopes up that it will go through but it's cute that the producer seems all gung-ho about it. Btw, I believe this is the same guy that FSF recommended/praised YM to, and (semi-jokingly) asked him if he could make a FengMi collab possible in his next movie, LOL. I'm still suspicious about the guy doing this all for HMY promo's sake...but I felt the same way about the DMGD producer and he's still going strong even months after the movie box office run finished so who knows!

That is just adorable. I remember watching a leaked video of them filming this scene (that's how the news of FSF's character dying in the series got prematurely leaked all over the internet). It was hilarious...at first YM is all devastated and crying hysterically while holding FSF's dead body in her lap, and you get all into her emotions...then the director yells "Cut!" and YM goes, "Omg how come you have this much blood?!" (Ok, maybe the way I described it is not that funny, but I started laughing at the way she said it. So cute.)

Hahah i know all the fengmi fans name here! HAHAH im a creeper! basically stalk all your post since im a avid fan of fengmi.
Hope im not out of place since this is a YM thread.
Honestly im new with C-dramas, and FengMi pulled me in.
I watched Huanzhugege years ago and a few others, but thats that!
Then my friend recommended me gong this year, back in march and darn i was hook.
I mean the plot was a complete rip of many other shows, but hell yeah, i enjoyed it.
Thanks to FengMi im sure.

Since then ive actually been stalking the gong thread, YM thread and all...
And yeah even going to baidu's fengmi bar and all (though my chinese is horrible) and fully stalked Mingyun's BD bar in march when they were filming it.
Of course, stalking their weibo interactions as well
So yeah, i started watch Mingyun! I honestly don't like the plot... but GOSH FENGMI!~~~
According to Baidu, it seems that Chenxi will come back in the end, alive? If its true then i will continue from ep 11, if not i doubt i'd continue.

Anyway, im so excited for all of yangmi's projects despite the plots all being horrible, yangmi's presence just makes me watch it.

Thanks for the video! Amazing how YM seems to be placed on par with the lead actresses (Zhang Ting, Li Xiaolu) when she's actually only playing a supporting/guest character in here. Anyhow, can't wait for MRTX to be released as the trailer looks really interesting. Hopefully YM's character in here is as intriguing, if not more than in MRXJ.
