What's funny is, awhile back Yang Mi did a repost on her weibo of this post:

At the time, most people immediately thought she was referring to this (from Gong):




...but, it looks like maybe she was referring to the reverse of that scene in Gong 2!




(btw, the caption of the "Gong" scene is: [8th prince] "You're not allowed to think about anyone else! You're only allowed to think about me!!!"
I imagine the "Gong 2" scene might go something like... [Qingchuan] "You're not allowed to keep staring at that computer screen! You're only allowed to stare at me!!!" )

Recently, at her "Tian Xia 3" promo event, YM was asked about celebs keeping their love lives secret. She replied that she fully supports celebrities that keep their relationships/marriages private, and said *if* she ever starts dating, she will definitely not make it public because as a celebrity so much of your life is already in the public eye--she doesn't want her love life to be the source of people's "entertainment" (ummm...kinda too late there, Yang Mi! XD). Then she goes on to say that she would never admit her relationship...unless the media manages to catch certain evidence of it! (Hmmm, is that a challenge, YM?? )

Anyways, HP2 finished filming 2 days ago; FSF recently posted up this pic on his weibo, along with the text: (btw, because of the high altitudes, it's easy to have lack of oxygen up there...)

"Goodbye Tibet! If I don't leave now, 'Uncle' will really require some mouth-to-mouth resuscitation! "




Bwahahaha...(alright so maybe FSF is just making a casual joke--but recall that FSF/YM have recently been constantly joking around by referring to FSF as YM's "Uncle Feng"... ^_^)

I swear, these two seem to be having a blast by constantly openly flirting on weibo--yet always keeping things vague enough that no one can be sure their posts refer to each other, so the media can't do anything about them either! Sneaky!

At any rate, I am SOOO anxious for HP2 to hold their closing press conference and release trailers already!! FengMi haven't attended a public event together since HuaBiao at the end of August and I'm getting impatient again. I think the HP2 press conference will probably be the next time they show up at an event together.

those tibet pix from hp2 look amazing...but i'm sorta more excited about wudang. woo-hoo! can't wait to see trailers of wudang and ym in action. also, can't wait to hear the announcements for ym's next projects.

her forehead confuses me. sometimes, i think she looks okay with bangs, and other times, she's in dire need of covering that vast forehead. but i adore her nevertheless.

I adore the red dress!! It really shows off her fantastic hour-glass figure... XD I like it way more than the long red dress she wore to the "Xin Li Shi" awards (although I will say, that red dress looked a lot better in motion, on video, than it did in the pics).

Haha, yeah, I often wish she would go back to the "sideswept bangs" look she had earlier this year (e.g. around March). That hairstyle suits her best I think. But shortly after, YM made a post on her weibo that she'd finally decided to take the plunge and grow out her bangs (which she's had for many years now, in various forms). I imagine it was partially due to wanting to try out a new hairstyle and partly because she wanted to move away from the "young girl" image that the bangs give off, and go for a more "grown-up" image since she's doing movies now.

Maybe in a year or two she'll decide to go back to bangs...even though I actually kinda find her prominent forehead kind of endearing now!

Yup, it's Qi Wei! Yang Mi proclaimed that Qi Wei ("Mr. Qi") was her "husband", lol...I had a good laugh at the comment under that YT video left by a MiShi shipper! But it's kinda true--with Qi Wei YM acts like a little wife while with LSS she's the one acting like the "husband", lmao.

I didn't realize the sheer bottom of her red dress was actually detachable--she's wearing just the top part with jeans and a jacket before the event! I kinda want to see what it looks like as just a short dress. XD

The teasing "almost-kisses" between her and QW/LSS remind me of all those cute CP3 BTS pics with LSS and TY! Anyways my only complaint is that there is no Tang Yan in the vid! Seems like she's getting neglected in all the videos...can't wait till the awards show actually airs on TV in a few days. Also, it sucks about the bad quality at the end--can someone make out what YM said when they asked when she and LSS last saw each other? It sounds she said something about when they were in HengDian??? Does this mean she caught up with the XYS cast or something (weren't they filming in HengDian in the summer) while she was filming Ru Yi perhaps...?

Ok so thanks to the XinShiLi Awards now I've satisfied my YM/TY, YM/QW, and YM/LSS quota for the time being...but I'm still waiting for YM/HG! Lol. They seem to keep missing each other at all these events (and at the one they *did* attend together, HuaBiao, we never got a proper pic out of it >_<).

LOL, is this some sort of meme going around on Chinese weibo right now??? I've been seeing this kind of stuff all over the place with different versions. I think I saw one of just Yang Mi by herself and I'm sure there must be one of FengMi floating around somewhere (plus I've seen a few of other actors/actresses as well, and regular people doing versions of themselves ).

It goes like this--there are 3 different "sets" of pics, captioned as "pu tong qing nian" ("regular" youth), "wen yi qing nian" ("artistic/cultured/well-read" youth), "2B qing nian" (a play on words--"2B" means stupid/idiotic because in Chinese "2" is short for "250", which means an idiot...because Asians love to do the peace sign while taking pics so often, those pics are also joking referred to as being really "2" i.e. "an idiot", but in an endearing way...YM especially seems to love doing the victory sign in her pics very often! )

New city (Chang Chun this time), new promo for the down winter coats collection...here's Yang Mi being "2" again (in the elevator??)!




I like the loose hair on hair better than the ponytail she had in the Harbin promo (although I adored her ponytail hairstyle in MingYun...I think it was the side bangs that made it!). More HQ pics of that event below!

woo-hoo! more pix. sometimes, i feel as though ym is losing a lot of her hair fast (?receding hairline)...but i still find her so beautiful. i think it's her determination and hard work that draws me to her. now i'm hoping that her next few projects maintain my interest in her to this degree. thanks for the updates ladies. ym keeps on mentioning that she wants to work hard now so that she can ultimately marry. i don't think i've ever read about an asian artist who keeps on talking about marriage as often as she does.

LOL...I think that might just be her ginormous forehead that makes it seem that way. Anyways, it never seems to be a problem so far in her stylings for her actual series (where she always looks great--except for Hong Lou Meng), and that's when it actually counts. I've mentioned before, I don't think she is a very photogenic actress (in that I find she almost always looks way more gorgeous in action/onscreen)...partly due to the flattering shooting and partly due to the "ling qi" and aura/charisma she exudes. (Whereas some actresses who look beautiful in pictures can sometimes fall flat and come across as boring onscreen.)

I am so torn between wanting her not to marry for several years so she can keep acting, or wanting her to marry ASAP so she can fulfill her utmost dream. I find it funny when I read in the baidu forums some people (not her huge fans) have the impression that she's a super career woman (like FBB), just because she's a total workaholic and is very focused on her work right now. I've even seen comments saying she will DEFINITELY not marry until she's in her 30s and speculation of whether she will open her own studio/company like FBB did in her mid-20s. When in contrast, she seems like the actress that would without a doubt choose family over career--she keeps talking about marriage before she turns 30, how she loves kids, etc. etc...she also keeps saying how much she admires/is jealous of her good friends who are getting married and having kids. I guess part of that might stem from seeing so many of her good friends getting married lately (Xie Na, Dong Xuan, Sun Li...YM wasn't able to attend any of the weddings but she sent her well-wishes to them on weibo; possibly her assistant was also spotted at DX's wedding so maybe YM sent her instead to send along the presents and congrats).

I think she's always been this way--I remember reading an interview back when she was filming "Mysterious Island" where YM said she thought Cherrie Ying was so lucky for having such a doting husband (YM's costar in the movie Chen Xiaochun) and was really wistful of having such a loving relationship; she's also of course expressed a few times in the past how she admired Nic/Cecilia's happy marriage (well it was, at one point...) But I think she's definitely being WAY more obvious about it this year! Hmm, I dunno about you, but I find that strange for someone who keeps proclaiming she is most certainly and definitely single right now.

Yup, I think the fresh mountain air, daily exercise, and lots more sleep than she's been getting this past year has been doing her some good! ^_^ Hope she will stop doing so much simultaneous filming next year so she doesn't have to overwork herself.

Apparently, Yang Mi's character finally makes an appearance towards the end of Mei Ren Tian Xia's 31st episode! Seems like she has a few fighting scenes in this series...not expecting it to be super impressive fighting but I always like watching her doing a bit of kungfu...bit of a warmup before Wudang.
