Palace's golden couple Yang Mi and Feng Shaofeng reunite in the 2011 romantic melodrama Ming Yun Jiao Xiang Qu. The urban drama revolves around the love and struggles of two sisters working in the fashion industry. Older sister An Qi (Yang Mi) is a kind-hearted, aspiring fashion designer, but she loses everything and even ends up in prison because of her scheming supermodel sister An Na (Guo Zhenni, Bu Bu Jing Xin). Despite An Na's betrayal, An Qi holds no hard feelings, and strives wholeheartedly to put her life back together. Feng Shaofeng co-stars as An Qi and An Na's classmate Chen Xi, the man whom both sisters fall in love with.
Thanks LXX--CP3 cast BTS were always one of my favourites! I think the Egypt trip was definitely the best thing to come out of CP3...lol! (And umm, I'm totally blocking out Karen's face in all the pics, haha... XD) Just have to say, now that (after 2 long years) we finally got some MiShi and HongMi (plus lots of MiTang), how about getting GeMi again one of these days...? ^_^
Anyways, if anyone still wanted to watch the subbed version of YM's "Bday Party" episode, it's all up now! Start at Part I here.
Also, most of you should be thrilled that I have moved my FengMi fangirling over to JoleCole's blog (so those of you who don't like FengMi can avoid it, and those of you who like them can get more crazy squeeing ). BUT, I can't help but post this video of FengMi BTS during Gong filming/airing here in YM's thread--it's super cute. (Note that these are old clips from back in February-ish, so those of you who have followed Gong since the beginning have probably seen most if not all of these clips already...)
1) Promo ads that were aired directly prior to the final episode of "Gong" in February, to get viewers to tune into the finale. Hunan TV also got YM/FSF to help promote the series that was to be aired right after "Gong"--"Hui Jia De You Huo" (回家的诱惑, i.e. "Temptations on the Way Home").
2) FengMi cut of all the filming BTS from "Gong".
3) FengMi cut from an 11-minute long fan-taken video, thanks to several FSF fans who visited him on the "Gong" set last summer. Most of it revolves around them chatting with 8th/9th/10th princes, but halfway through Yang Mi makes a quick appearance and FSF walks over, putting his arm around her. ^_^

Btw--I won't repost all the stuff I have over on the FengMi blog, I swear!--but this part is just Yang Mi-related and I find it rather funny/cute so I'm going to reproduce it here:
Yang Mi continues to move up her "marriage date"...
When Yang Mi was interviewed at the end of 2009, she said marriage wasn't even on her radar. Just over a year later, and throughout the past few months she's been constantly mentioning how she would like to get married and is planning on marrying herself off before she turns 30 (within the next 5 years). Well...in the newest interview that just came out, Yang Mi jokes that she "definitely" plans to get married and have kids before "doomsday 2012"
Scan of full interview from December's edition of Harper's Bazaar: http://ww3.sinaimg.cn/large/6709d712jw1dn65pa4tgtj.jpg想到2012年可能是世界末日,我就觉得很焦虑, 万一这是真的怎么办? 我还没有碰到我未来的老公啊,那样就死掉实在太划不来! 我一定会赶在末日来临前结婚生子, 那是人生必须的环节, 在我眼里没有婚姻的人生是不完整的.
"When I think about 2012 possibly being 'the end of the world', I get a bit worried--what if this is true? I haven't even met my future husband yet, if I die off like this it's so not worth it! I definitely will hurry up and get married/have kids before 'doomsday' arrives, that is a necessary stage in human life, in my eyes a life without marriage is not complete."
Yeah, out of ALL the things she could do before the world ends (like, you know, how about doing some traveling? Trying out crazy stuff?), all Yang Mi can think about is she has to start a family. (Well, she's obviously joking--after all, the big day is barely a year away so Yang Mi will have to get married/pregnant in the next 3 months if she wants to achieve her goal--umm, yeah, not happening!--but it's still funny how marriage and kids seem to be always on her mind lately! ) So basically, she keeps talking about marriage plans yet insists she hasn't met the guy yet... *raises eyebrow skeptically*
Cover & photoshoot for "Hotspot" magazine: (a "ye men" i.e. more "masculine"-type styling...I like her expressions in this shoot: the first one is very "ba qi"/"don't-mess-with-me", the 2nd/3rd are more "innocent but cold", the 4th is rather "speculative", and the last is my favourite, she has a rather "sly/wicked" expression, heheh.)
(Funnily enough I'm pretty sure Feng Shaofeng had a feature in this same magazine last month... XD)

Glad to see YM moving away from her previous racy & cheaply-styled photo shoots and doing classier and more womanly pics. I guess that appearance at Fashion Week did help somewhat.
There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.
I remember reading news before that Yang Mi will be lead girl for Yu Zheng's Tong Hua adaptation, Yun Zhong Ge (Song In The Clouds). Any confirmation on that? I know for sure Qiao Zhenyu and Mickey He (again!) will be the 2 male leads.

I ship Shi-Harem
Drama Blog: http://jolecole.blogspot.com
At any rate, YZ says a lot of things that don't come true (e.g. saying he was going to cast YM as Bi Yao in Zhu Xian--still mad at him getting my hopes up about that one, btw), and then saying he was going to cast her as lead in Yun Zhong Ge. At this point I'd just rather YM stay away from his productions--she's so busy with movies lately that doing another TV series will probably be a rare occurrence, and if that one rare drama turns out to be another "dog-blooded" Yu Zheng one...I'm out.
But honestly, by the way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if he cast YSS as the lead in Yun Zhong Ge, haha.
she looks beautiful in the above pic. which series is that picture from?
anyhow, going back to the great wudang. apparently, ym's character truly is one of the most skilled fighters. she can beat many of the male opponents. see the article below:
Mini-Diva Yang Mi!
Anyways...check out adorable little YM being a "movie-star-diva": (Pretty sure this was from when she was filming a movie, since I recognize the yellow dress as the one she wore in it.) Now fast-forward 20 years and we have "movie-star" Yang Mi all grown up!
Nic Tse on the Da Wudang set???
Someone posted on weibo that they saw Nic Tse talking with Yang Mi, Vincent Zhao, and Yuan Kui (martial arts director of Da Wudang) recently. Apparently s/he also said that Nic/YM were visiting the Da Wudang set (I guess the person isn't aware that YM is actually part of the Da Wudang cast? Lol.) So now people are speculating if Nic is indeed doing a cameo on Da Wudang?? As was rumoured a long time ago... (Or did he just follow YM over from their "Vanishing Bullet" set, LOL...since apparently the two productions are close by each other, making it easier for YM to do simultaneous filming on both. Maybe Nic wanted to get some martial arts advice from Vincent/Yuan Kui ?? )
Cute pigtails YM:
This seems to be a pretty old pic but I just saw it recently and it's so cute! Wonder where it's from? The pigtails reminds me of Zhou Xun's adorable hairstyle in "Xiang Feng Xiang Yu You Xiang Wu"...

You guys might find this interesting....
That was faked by someone to make it seem like Yang Mi was insulting the person on weibo. However, it's really easy to create false posts like this (a similar situation happened a few months ago involving someone faking Feng Shaofeng replying to Hu Ge's weibo in relation to Yang Mi, LOL). It's pretty easy to see that it isn't real...but at any rate both YM and her company have said it is fake too.
